~Sister Shirley N'Me~ :-)

Yesterday was my sister Shirleys 68th birthday.. I phoned
her last evening as I kinda figgured she would have a busy
day with all her kids and grands and great grands visiting
or at least phoning her.. And I was right.. When I phoned
she didn't answer but later on she saw I had called so she
phoned me back and told me about how nice her day was..
She had heard from all 4 of her kids.. She was happy...
She has a brand new great grand daughter, only 2 months
old. Her grand Candis's baby. I'm glad she had a good day.

That photo up there was taken not long after we had met.
Shirley and Stan had already come down to Pasadena to
meet me and then the next summer Willie and I drove up
here from TX to IN for a 2 week visit and for me to meet
my 2 brothers, Kenny and Frank.. I had talked to them on
the phone, but not met them in person... And we drove up
here to MI to meet my sister RoseMarie... It was a great
trip to meet them...

While sitting at Shirleys dining table there was a knock
at the door and in came first, Kenny, kinda rough looking,
to me he looks just like Eddie Rabbit the singer.. Then
behind him was this kinda pretty BIG guy and I had NO
idea who they were, so I just sat there, smiled and waited
for Shirley to tell me who they were! But behind Kenny
the big guy was my brother Frank.. Neither of them has
changed at all .. They both look the same as when I met
them .. I havent seen them in a long long time though.. I
havent seen Kenny since I lived at the apartment.. and Ive
not seen Frank since I first moved into the little house.
I wish we were closer but.. I can only do so much.. and it
takes mutual effort to have any kind of relationship,
no matter who its between...each has to work on it...

No Plans for today and other than it being COLD its a
nice day today.. We had roast chicken with dressing
yesterday that was EXCELLENT.. and that's what we
are planning for today, just leftovers.. which are always
better the next day when the flavors get to soak in...
So that's where this GORGEOUS WEEBLE is headed
and then to check the packer schedule to see if they
are playing.. That's the only team I like to watch.. I
did watch them play against Farve..the Packers LOST !
Not good! I did NOT like seeing that.. They will do
better.. I have faith in them :-) I be a cheesehead :-)

Time to post and finish today.. Hope you had a nice
Sunday.. Its a good one here :-) Time now for my
special warning! "I SHALL Return!"

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? luv ya and thanks!
Always, Lois ****

"God Bless You" is my prayer today,
I'm honord to call you Friend..
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until I write again...
