~I Made the Trip~ :-)

Well, I made it to the lab at the hospital in 3 Rivers.

Curtis came an hour early! Talk about RUSH! We werent

really ready but only took a few minutes for the final

touches, getting sweaters and I had to transfer to my

manual chair... I had told Laurie at COA 10 as in TEN,

not 9 but we did it.. Was VERY cold this morning and I

HAD to wear another sweater even though the van was

warm, Just the time from the door into the van I didn't

want to catch a chill and come down with something. Which

for me is TOO easy .. I think that's why I don't like to

go out that much cuz it seems a short time after that I

come down with something...

I couldn't have anything to drink after midnight, which

to be honest, I had forgotten about..but I didn't have

anything... We didn't have time for coffee anyway this

morning.. so.. but I made it to the lab.. While I had to

wait in the hallway the door to the lab opened and this

mom with her little boy came out, I bet he was about

4, so cute, but this poor baby had the saddest frown

on his face, kinda held his arm out from his side, I

looked at him and smiled and told him.."it will be better

honey" and he just looked at me even sadder..Bless his

little heart, Mom says "Hes not too happy right now" I

told her I didn't think I would be when I get done back

there either ! And THATS true! 3 times they stuck me..

First try at the base of my left thumb, nothing, she poked

around till I told her to stop it hurt too much.. 2nd try was

on my right thumb.. that didn't work good, she did get

some, but I told her, that vein is gonna collapse and you

wont get anything.. Well it stopped. The girl called in a

different girl , she says "is it ok if I try?".. well... like I HAD
a choice??? so she tried back on my left thumb just below

the first stab but kinda in my wrist.. She pulled on that

to draw that blood out of that vein till I told her she had

to stop it just hurt too much... But she managed to suck

out enough blood that time... I have awful veins.... So now

I wait for Erica to phone.. which I KNOW she will...Wanna

know what shes gonna say? "Lois, Dr needs to see you before

she will re new your stuff as some of the lab work was not

good" I already know it.. So.. lets just wait and see... :-) BUT
I am pretty sure that's what is gonna happen next, which I

wont be a happy camper if I have to go back in there to the

clinic.. Wait and see... :-)

So anyway... Rebecca phoned and canceled tomorrow and

moved it to Monday at 10 am... And she will be bringing

that other Rebecca.. Which as hectic as this week is all

ready I'm kinda glad she cancelled tomorrow.. Its been

busy enough .. I am give out... well kinda, that trip made

me hungry and I could use some lunch.. I think some

left over chili.. I made some yesterday and it was pretty

good..will be even better today... and needless to say

this STUCK 3 times GORGEOUS WEEBLE is a tad tired,

so its time to warn ya... "I'll be back!" :-)
