~Something New~ :-)

Well.. I have a rather cute story to tell you.. I did a stupid AGAIN! Ive been doing pretty good specially since this is such a jinxed month for me.. Well that's what I get for thinkin... So.. yesterday, after I posted the blog.. I went out to the kitchen to see what the coa lunch was..I made a potty stop, and headed into the kitchen. Lunch I did not eat. anyway, after I got it all put in the fridge, I started back down the hall .. I was rolling along and all of a sudden I feel this TUG, PULL, RIP!.. I see my skirt disappear! my chair comes to a dead stop, I couldn't move AND.. my skirt rips RIGHT OFF ME.. well ALMOST.. I was so surprised! I looked down and here is my skirt all wrapped around my left front tire! The more I rolled back and forth or sideways the worse it got! I had NEVER had this happen before with my clothes! I got LB's cat stuck in my wheel once.. but not my skirts!!! :-) NOW what was I gonna do? This was NEW... All I had left of my skirt I was sitting on.. I think it would have taken more than a power chair to get that skirt ALL the way out from under me ! :-) But 99% of my skirt was on the floor and a whole lot of it was TOTALLY wrapped around my tire.. So.. I sat there, looking at it.. I knew this skirt was long, but I just didn't check after I got back into my chair to make sure it wasn't dragging in front.. Usually I tuck them under my stumps.. Well.. this time for what ever reason.. I didn't.. and.. I paid for my NOT doing what I KNOW I should do.. What if that had pulled me right out of this chair! I was glad that material was kinda flimsy it ripped right off ! :-) Soon as I saw me half naked I was glad no one was there! Some of the crap that happens.... It never crossed my mind that my skirt could do that...but it sure did.. I learn something new every day.. or at least I get a reminder of "HEY.. be careful!"... I looked pitiful.. I have to say I did laugh at my self.. and... I wasn't going to put anything here about it.. Nothing like telling the world you did a stupid! :-) oh well .. joys of chair life.. Never knew it was so interesting and exciting did ya? I have nothing planned for the rest of today and hope fully it will be a nice quiet satday...what I call them.. That's what your sposta do on saturday...way things are now its a regular work day. Time to post this and decide what I will fix to eat today, I am not sure....YET... I always find something... So that means this GORGEOUS WEEBLE is finished and DRESSED for the day....but.. "I shall return!" Always, Lois ****
