~1110~

This year started off with a great start! It started

snowing about midnight.. I didn't see the new year

in, I woke up about 12:30, told the boys happy new

year and went back to sleep... Penny phoned about 9am

said she was on her way and I got up.. When I looked

outside .. well you see what I saw.. I worried until she

pulled in the drive way and had to shovel her way in!..

That's NOT in her job description to shovel, but its

either that or wade through it.. so she carries the

shovel in the trunk of her car!
Penny says "Oh boy, its COLD!"

The birds were glad to see her, specially when she

refilled the birdbath and the post. I saw a female

cardinal first, and then looked and saw the male

up in the bird bath.. They are such beautiful birds.

And they LOVE those sun flower seeds... With all

this snow we are expecting they will have a hard

time finding food..

According to the weather service we are under a

lake effect snow warning and for the next 3 days

can expect anywhere from 3 to 6 inches of snow

every day.. I should call that girl back at the gas

company and ask how much lake effect snow they

get in Nebraska.. Her remarks still amaze me..

Michigan Gas Utilities and the office is in that state.

Go figure..
I need a bigger birdbath! :-)

Kelli and her family and Donnie are due to go back

to Wisconsin for the week end.. With the weather

this bad I don't think they will go.. This snow is

just steady pouring down.. Penny is headed back

home with strict instructions to phone me the

minute she is home safely.. She goes to another

client when she leaves here, then she goes home.

I know 3 Rivers has to be getting it as bad or

probly even worse than we are... This is a huge

storm.. Ive not seen one plow out yet today tho,

which I am really surprised.. I would think they

would be steady out there to keep it down.. Penny

said the highway this morning wasn't plowed and

she had a hard time staying on the road.. there

were no other tracks to follow either.. But she

made it.... Thank you Lord...

I wish you the very healthiest, wealthiest and

happiest new year you have ever had.. I wish

the same for myself... With the Lord on our

side, we all will have a great new year.. I HAVE
SPOKEN! So be it! :-)

This GORGEOUS WEEBLE is hungry and Penny

is making lunch.. sure smells good.. Post time,

and for my "I shall return!"... :-)
