~We Got Snow This Time~

As you see we watched the snow yesterday. Dutch likes

the big flakes and tries to catch them.. Some of the

time it snowed so hard it looked foggy out it was so

thick.. Penny says we got about a foot outside... She

made the drive here ok, but did see a few accidents

where people had gone off the road... Some just don't

care and drive any way they want to.. Well you cant do

that with snow, specially when there is ICE under it..

And we had rain first remember a few days ago? In

between this 'lake effect snow'. :-)

Penny was at a cross roads and a car that was coming

towards her slid, she hit a patch of ice, Penny said

she did a total spin around and ended up going back

the way she had come from.. Penny went on to another

dangerous spot in the road and someone was in the

ditch there too ! Joys of winter.. Id rather watch the

snow from inside of a house than a car.. Donnie phoned

last nite about 5, he was at Kelli's for supper... he said

the roads were REALLY bad.. I am SO glad he has 4

wheel drive, it takes him just over an hour to get home

from Kelli's.. She lives in Michigan, but right on the

line.. Its called Michiana- the area around here- because

of the state line...Kelli lives closer to my sister than us..

and I'm even farther away now that I moved here to

Colon.. I like it here, cuz I love my apartment.. but I

DO miss the fast food places.. Saving me a small fortune

since we don't have any thing here, restaurants is all..

Dawn and Phils place down town has THE very BEST, I

think.. Penny has picked up stuff from there for me.. Not

often... only for special occasions... :-)
Cant see the plastic flowers now, look on the sunflowers! :-)
Speaking of special occasions... My sis phoned the other

night and she and I had the best laugh.. Shes so funny. :-)

I picked up the phone, said "hello..." I hear this loud voice

say "DID I MISS YOUR BIRTHDAY?????" I knew it was

my sis, I have caller ID, but I had to laugh.. I assured her

it was not until the 20th.. NOTE>>> TWENTIETH as in 20th..

:-) is my 65th birthday! :-) Anyway, I told her if she forgets

on the 20th not to worry I will carry this HB over to then :-)

She said she would try to remember :-)


Penny is back from the store and we are both hungry, I

am not sure what we are gonna have yet.. So that means

its post time and for this GORGEOUS WEEBLE to tell

ya that I WILL return! :-)
