~1963~

The other day while I was looking for photos to

send to my son, I had the best time.. I always do

when I go thru my photos :-) I came across this

one.. look at the date... MAR 1963.. The year I

graduated. The club is Future Nurses Club.. You

see I'm the only one with a full tray :-) It was

taken for the year book.. I wish I had mine, I
was in quite a few pictures that I would like to

have, just for memories.. But over the years Ive

lost mine... From the left is Helen, Sandy, me,

Janis and Cherie... We were all good friends.. Janis

and I especially and Helen and Sandy and Cherie

all lived by Sadino's grocery store which wasn't

far from me.. I lived on 10th street, Jan lived on

4th.. Was a small town... Cherie and Sandy lived

by my favorite cousin June.
June is over 90 now.. and still lives in her house

she raised her family in.. She has 2 sons.. Bobby

and Jerry.. I went to June's every Monday night

and did her ironing.. I would walk there straight

from school with Bobby.. He and I were very close

and good friends.. We always seemed to have lots

of fun together.. doing all sorts of stuff.. He spent

a lot of time during the summer with me out at

the cottage.. we would fish and swim all day .. Was

such a great time.. He lives up there still .. so does

Jerry.. lucky dogs.. They never left.. sometimes I

wish I hadnt either.. And I wonder how different

things would have been.. :-)
Had a bit of drama yesterday...outside with the

kitties.. The orange one came by and had his share

of the food outside, he left some.. but as he was

leaving , first time Ive seen the 2nd orange one,

in fact I was worried cuz I hadnt.. They are so

identicial its hard to tell them apart.. But the 2nd

one came up to the first one and they had a stand

off for quite awhile.. I was worried they were

really gonna fight.. They didn't..
The first orange left and then the 2nd one walked

down the path to have his share of the food.. I

watched him and checked him over, I just cannot

tell them apart! I have quite a crew of kitties out

there.. 2 grays.. 2 black and white, 2 oranges and

the black one !! Anyhoway...
NOW.!!. Hows THAT for a thank you?? :-) I had to laugh.. :-)

Peein in my peonies.. :-) I have to remember to tell

Penny to wear gloves when she cuts them off.. :-)
Today is a dark, gloomy, rainy day.. Warm..but damp.

Sposta get up in the high 50's.. Its the dampness

that gets to me.. I do feel pretty good today tho..

I noticed that when I was having coffee today.. I

am MOST Grateful.. I like when I feel good.. My

stumps are achey but I ignore them.. This is daily

thing and I don't let the fact that they constantly

ache and let me know it bother me.. I just keep on.

Have to... or I really wouldn't do anything.. :-)

I still see no difference in what I feel.. I don't think

anything has actually changed.. Some of the aches,

like when my big toe hurts on my left stump.. It will

do that for a week or so.. then stop for a long time..

Or when I get that really bad ache in the arch of my

foot that keeps it on its toes.. my right foot does

that.. I guess I should say INVISIBLE toe and foot..

I feel them.. so its kinda hard to say invisible.. But..

well they taint there !! But to me..yeah.. they are!!!
And some days .. more than others :-) But.. oh well..

even people with legs and feet have daily aches..

My sis is having a hard time with hers.. They ache

all the time.. She has neuropsy... I know how that

feels too. Anyhoway...

My chicken catchatorri or however you spell it..

was SO good !! I made linguini pasta and I have

to say I had 2 helpings.. I did really good.. I did

it all my ownself too.. Well no.. Penny did cut up

the onion.. she had to leave and it wasn't hard

to just put stuff in a pan.. I use my electric

frying pan.. I put it on the table by the window

then I can see into it really well and its not

face level like it would be if I used the stove.

I prefer the electric frying pan..


Anyhoway.. that's what my dinner is gonna be

today too.. and I am hungry and so.. that means

this GORGEOUS WEEBLE is gonna post this

and head out to the kitchen.. Wanna come have

lunch with me and watch the critters? ;-) I
