~Pretty Kitty~ :-)
Is that a pathetic site or what.. But isnt he
or she.. a pretty cat.?. :-) I don't think hes very
young.. but look at all the fur.. He needs a
good brushing.. Both the boys saw him and
he just looked back.. LB just stared and
Dutch slapped the window.. Didn't scare him
all I would LIKE to have done outside.. He stays
so busy .. Donnie leaves for work at 5, and he
doesn't get home some nights until 7 or 8 at
night.. I worry about him.. But we talked about
night.. I worry about him.. But we talked about
a deck outside for me.. He offered to build it,
said he and Gary would build a nice 8 X 10 deck
with railings and all.. he knows how fussy I am...
And with a ramp... If I get the materials.. they
would build it.. He guestimated the cost of the
lumber to run between 4 and 500... which isnt
enough to build it.. It will enhance this place
and add value to it.. Ive seen the work Donnie
can do.. Hes a very skilled carpenter.. a man
of many talents .. like Raife ! :-) If Joe doesn't
have the lumber.. I may take up a collection to
try to pay for the lumber myself.. If Donnie
doesn't attach it to the house, he wont need a
building permit AND if I ever move, then he
can take it, specially if I foot the bill for it..
But it would be so VERY wonderful to sit out
back.. and if Donnie put a railing.. I could get
a few of those railing plant hangers and have
flowers ALL around my deck ! :-) Could be a
great summer! Penny is already keeping her
does NOT hurt! "Thank You Lord!" :-) Its gonna
be up in the 80's today.. I think we are gonna
bypass spring.. You see the egg Penny found.!. Its
so delicate.. it was down in the peonies... She is
taking it home to give to her grand for show and
tell at school.. :-) That's proof that the spring
bird babies are born.. I really think Spring has
sprung and we missed it ! :-) Summer fun is begun!
We are all set for the week end.. Penny made some
spaghetti sauce and I have some linguini out there...
Its so hard to say what I will feel like eating tomorrow
or Sunday.. I don't plan anything special for then.. No
ham or anything.. Being a holiday I may splurge and have
my very best favorite.. Ive not made fries n'gravy in
quite a while. A treat is always good for a holiday.. :-)
Post time, lunch time and I have some Easter things I
Post time, lunch time and I have some Easter things I
need to print off for Penny's grands.. :-) But this
GORGEOUS WEEBLE WILL Return!! :-)
Always, Lois ****
God Bless You, is my prayer today,
I'm so honored to call you "friend".
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until I write again...

Hi Lois
You have said that someone built a ramp for you. Do you ever use it. If not why. Its for you. Its expensive and why should they build a deck if you dont use the ramp. DUH

Hi, Honey,
When I built our decking, a builder friend advised me NOT to fix it to the house. Any movement of either would show up in distortion. I took his advice and, so far, everything is O.K. Nothing has moved. Down here, though, it needs a regular pressure wash at least once a year to keep the algi clear and to make sure the surface does not get slippery. Like you say, you need treated timber, but it also pays to paint it with a shed and fence preservative. We painted the vertical surfaces, but not the decking. I must put a coat of clear preservative on that.
Poor kitty - he/she needs some "huggins and tissins" by the look of him/her!!
Take care, Honey,
Luv Ya,
Raife

Home Depot built a ramp for me at my other place, the little house. NOT HERE... I have NO ramp here and if I DID >>> DUH<<< I WOULD use it.. Give me SOME credit please.. Take notes.. THERE IS NO RAMP, or DECK at this place.. I CANT get out the back door.. Nice Comment.. thanks.. DUH..
Hiya Raife..
I KNOW you know all about decks and stuff, Yours is beautiful.. Yes if you attach to the house then we would have to get a building permit.. and they charge for those TOO!! Im hoping I can get one built.. And of COURSE I would use it..
Happy Easter!
Love N'Hugs, Lois ****
