~I Saw Woodie~ :-)

I feel pretty good today, I should after 2 days off :-)

I havent done nuthin these past 2 days but watch my

yard and my TV.. I was glad to see the wood pecker

was out there, I tried to get a photo but he was in a

hurry and didn't stay too long. I spotted his silhouette

against the garage as he went up and down the trunk

of the pine tree. Its easy to spot him hes pretty big ..
Mr and Mrs Cardinal have been here a lot lately but

I think the draw are the sunflowers growing by the

back door ..I saw the male there yesterday and by

the time I sneaked past the door to get the camera

he was gone..He sure liked those fresh seeds tho..
I mentioned that its Magic Days here ..Penny when

she went to the grocery store yesterday said there

were lots of people in town...Was a huge craft show

downtown that I KNOW lots of people went to..I know

the traffic on the streets here is busy busy..There are

a lot of shows going on over here at the high school..

So a lot of the neighbors have yard sales..The people

next door had a sale last year but didn't this one.. I

saw where the other neighbor has put his motor home

AND a tent up in his yard.... :-) The Amish ladies were

out having fun.. That horse was going full gallop almost,

I was surprised I got the photo :-)
I am sure enjoying these blueberries and strawberries

my sis brought..It was a short season this year for them.

Shirley usually buys quite few and freezes them for

during the winter..She said the blueberry pickin time was

already done! I usta go picking wild blue berries out by

my Uncle Stanleys farm on M-73 up north..Just before

crossing the state line into Wisconsin there is a private

kinda road that goes along the Brule River, down that

road..usta be a huge patch of blueberry bushes.. :-)
Those kinda things were kept so secret years ago..

You NEVER told where you found wild berries.. :-)

The pickin patches were NEVER given out to family

or friends. I remember where they are tho..Wonder if

they are still there today.. Id love to go up and find out..

I could use a vacation.. :-)

I'm gonna post this and have my lunch.Penny made a

pasty for me yesterday..I ate half and I have half left for

today ..it will taste even BETTER today, wouldn't think

that would be possible..but its true..Just like sketti sauce

its always better the next day..Hmmm..that seems to be

the case with me too.. :-) I seem to always be better the

next day ! :-) Sometimes..

Anyhoway.. Its time for this GORGEOUS WEEBLE to

eat and post this... I hope you are having a good week
