~BAD Weather Again!~

I didn't post yesterday and I have a
good reason why, look at that photo.
It was taken at 1030 am. Its pitch dark
out and the wind was awful.. I turned
the TV on and it said we had 6 minutes
and a tornado would be here! I had just
sent Penny to the store! I rushed to the
door and she was still in the driveway, I
yelled at her to come back in the house just
as the tornado sirens went off. Talk about
scared! That's putting it mildly.
I had Penny get the cat carrier out of the
laundry room and put it in the closet and I
made sure I knew where the boys were. I
had the TV on to a local channel and the
channel went off air. Penny phoned her
hubby and they were all running for cover.
She phoned her sister in Three Rivers and
Kathy and the kids were all in the basement
listening to things banging and flying around
outside. A tornado hit Centerville which is
12 miles west, went over us here in Colon and
touched down again in Coldwater which is 14
miles EAST... I think having 2 big lakes right
here in the middle of town helps us. We were
so scared it was awful...But we are ok.
I called Donnie as he lives just west of Three
Rivers about 20 miles and he said limbs came
down and hit his sun room and fell across his
driveway. He lives on a lake. Amber and the
kids were fine, no damage to the house. It
was a awful day yesterday. I called Penny last
night about 6 to make sure she made it home
ok, she has to go thru Centerville to get to
Mendon, where she lives. She said trees were
down everywhere and it was awful. What a day.
That's what I hate about summer. We get 90
degree days then these storms come across
Lake Michigan building up force and we get it
worse than they do on the other side of the lake
over by Chicago.. Joys of summer...
sunflowers are growin!
I was so glad Joyce (the grasscutter) Carls wife,
didn't see Tigger taking a dump in her flower bed.
I sat and had to laugh at that cat. I thought it
was funny but Joyce if she had seen him would
probly have run him over with the mower! Carl
did fix the gutter last night after the storm. I
sure hope theyre done banging on this building.
No wonder my BP stays high :-)
hummer is still coming by :-)
I'm waiting for Travis to come by. He just
phoned and is on his way. Hes not been here
in awhile, something always seems to come
up when we have an appointment so it has to
be put off.. Today will work.. Hes here, gotta
go....

I'm still a GORGEOUS WEEBLE tho, keep
well and God bless...

Always, Lois ****

"God Bless You" is my prayer today,
I'm honored to call you 'friend'.
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until I write again...

Sure glad you are OK,and the storm went over you...I wished there were no tornado at all.
I sure not like people hurt.
We had 57 children tonight at VBS. It's sure is a lot of work but so much fun seeing all the children learn about God.
    Great pictures there Lois.
    God bless you.
