Amputee life before and after...

~Roof Is DONE!~ :-)

I missed yesterday as it was kinda
hectic. I got up early of course and
then Penny came and got us all clean
and ready for the weekend. Then my
nurse Franesse came and did my check
up. My BP was high as usual. 177/95. I
had already taken my pills too. So I had
to take one of my extra ones. About an
hour later after the nurse left I got
really tired and took my pressure again.
It had dropped a tad TOO much I think.
99/65.. That's way to low. I went and got
up on my bed and took a nap, when I got
up a couple hours later I took it again. It
was 122/80. That's acceptable. This up
and down pressure is driving me nuts! I
don't know what the reason is.
I found out thru Donnie that my brother
Frank is having a triple heart bypass. I
called Donnie and he was at my other
brothers house, Kenny. They live in Elkhart.
From what Donnie says, my ex , Willie, is
in town. He and Frank are good buddies
and he came up here to check on him. I
guess Willie is moving to Indiana pretty
soon. Its about time. His wife Gail has
kids (by Indy) and they are always
driving all the way from Louisiana to
see them and Kelli. Willie will be up
here a lot living that close. He loves
Kelli so much and the kids, it will be
good for him to be closer.
I have more family news, I talked to my
sister, Shirley, the other day and from
what she says, her son, Steamer is not
doing good. He may lose his leg. He got
frostbite during the winter and has been
losing toes and even part of his foot. Hes
such a nice guy, is married and has 4 kids.
He is in horrible pain. I understand so well
what hes going thru, ive been there., When
I had gangrene in my right foot it hurt me
so bad that I begged them to cut it off.
They did, below the knee, but didn't get
all the infection, so a month later had to
have it cut off above the knee, I hope
they don't make that mistake with Steamer.
They finally finished the roof. We are very
glad. The pounding was driving us insane. I
looked out front this morning and they left
the gutter I think, on the ground. I wrote
and told Joe (my landlord) about it and I
sent him some photos of my carpet here in
the kitchen, its frayed on the edge. Its
pulled away from the strip on the edge.l
didn't want him to think my cats did it.
I don't want to pay for damages...
Well I'm gonna close, hope your're having
a nice weekend. Ours is gonna be HOT.
This GORGEOUS WEEBLE is hungry, I
don't know what I'm gonna fix. Ill find
something.. Keep well and God Bless...
Please include my family in your prayers.

Always, Lois ****

"God Bless You" is my prayer today,
I'm honored to call you 'friend'.
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until I write again...

    Love all the pictures Lois.
It was up to 102 F this afternoon, just a bit to hot for me.
My blood pressure is around 130/60 most of the time, the second number even get into the 50's and at times in the upper 40's...since I had surgery it's been that way.
Yet it's late again for me, good night Lois my friend.
    God bless you.
    Mary
