~More Callin~

I made some more phone calls today and cant say that

I really accomplished very much..other than to get even

more people to say they will call me back. lol. I guess

the start of the year..and so many places are trying to

deal with vacations and inventories and all that stuff.. I

remember when I worked.. I hated when we had to count

every little thing then fill out the report and go find more

stuff to count, but they had to know what they were starting

out the new year with and I guess what they can write off.

Kathy, from the shelter did call and said she was calling

Chris..so I hope its taken care of.. Im sure if it isnt he will

let me know..

I sent Penny to Meijers today and got the black ink refil for

my 3 in 1..18.oo ...just for ink..not even a 1/8 th of a cup I

don't think of the ink..lol..I dread if I have to replace the

color one, it runs about 30. That's amazing, they have these

refil kits..but I dunno.. I am really not good at that stuff and

too with this thumb not working right that might be a real

mess in the making... although not as bad as the visions I

have of that huge 5 gallon pail of paint tipping over lol.. Now

THAT is scarey the mess that would make.. I don't know

what I would do if I knocked it over lol..

I found out a new thingie..that quite honestly hasnt presented

itself to me.. Ive been using my old manual chair..its so loose

I thought easier to roll.. well I imagine it is..I havent even sat

my butt in my other one.. its too stiff I bet I couldn't get it to

move with out stroking myself out... Well the breaks arent

holding real good. When I went to back up into my chair this

morning..good thing I had laid there and was wide awake..

I reached back..and went to pull back and my chair moved

back too .. my butt was so close to the floor was scarey.. I

almost fell .. well sat..between my chair and the bed on the

floor.. . my brake had given out... If I hadnt kinda fallen back

and laid in the seat and pulled my self up ..it was NOT easy..

I had to pull and lay..pull and sit up a tad..and keep doing

that until I got back up into a sitting position.. with no legs

nothing could stop the weight of my stumps going down

other than my arms..and I have to say every day.. I am so

glad I have this strength. I shudder to think..if I lose it.. This

is so hard to do.. try it.. pull a chair ..on wheels now.. up to

your bed.. and sit backwards..pull yourself into it.. and don't

use your legs for leverage..remember theyre gone.. Its not

easy..and when the brake goes..well BOOM ! your patootie

hits the floor I'll have you know :-D well my weeble butt did

NOT hit the floor .. I didn't sleep at my desk but a couple hours

and went and got in bed.. I did sleep for awhile though.. I

hate to wake up this way, .. lol..

Beautiful day out today, you would never know its winter..sunny

up in the high 40's..no snow predicted in the near few days

either..rain yes.. but no snow.. the weather is changing so much.

years ago we would have had 3 blizzards by now lol no..not

3 maybe only 2 lol.. but we would have some snow. Makes you

wonder whats happening.. I was talking to Dawn last nite..shes

so miserable with sinus.. bless her heart..she can hardly breathe

and bad sore throat.. Her and Donnie both..hes more allergies..

he gets that so bad he has to go get shots.. . My brother Kenny

is the same way.. She sounded so miserable last nite..They both

were sneezing I could hear Donnie in the background.. She will

be here Friday she said..shes going grocery shopping and will

pick up some stuff for me..save Penny from steady running.. She

doesn't mind but ..well she drives that big van..takes gas and she

doesn't get a gas allowance so I buy her lunch too when she does

errands.. shes a good worker..be back on Friday..

I have some left over pizza, I don't think I will try it.. I think that

maybe is what is bothering my stomach..the cheese on it. My

stomach does NOT like dairy products. though I DO, my feelings

have NO bearing on being allowed to have it.. I know I am really

allowed to go to bed though which is where I am gonna go.. I

was up early and no nap..its time.. Nitey Nite..:-)
