~My Poor Ear~

I did a bunch of phone calls today and I cant say that it

accomplished anything other than a lot of people telling me

they will call me back..well its after 5 ... I havent got a call.. I

guess tomorrow will be a repeat of today, and hopefully

they will have some answers for me.. I called Que about my

grant..well no wonder she hasnt called..shes on vacation.

and didn't take care of this before she left.. I mean.. I

would have thought she would have gotten her work cleared

up before she left.. this was and is important..must not have

been to her at all..So ..more phone calling.. my poor ear..

Ive been asked if I had any response to the newspaper

story and I can say no..only 1 person..that sent that lovely

gift and the cookies etc.. I hear quite a few cars that go by

and honk the horn..but then they could be honking at any

thing, so no telling.. I just hope that Mr. Chartrand gets a lot

of good publicity from it.. He sure deserves it..and so does

Home Depot..That was really so nice of them to do this for

me, it has made a big difference for me..

My boy, Dutch, has been trying my patience really bad lately

and his brothers..They got in a fight today that seemed to

last for ever.. I yelled at them to stop I don't know how many

times.. They both get so mad neither one of them will back

down.. The hair all along the top of their backs stands right

up. I watched "the fur fly" as they say.. Dutch when he wants

to really get my attention will walk back and forth between me

and my monitor then stop when his butt is right by my nose.

I don't especially care for the smell of kittybutt..lol..LB he comes

up and just steady whines..he can say "mom" very clearly..hes

very vocal compared to Dutch..Very very seldom can you hear

anything..he opens his mouth as if to meow.. but only squeaks.

I guess my fault for not giving him a chance to meow I think

I spoiled them both..Now if I roll over him or something..trust me

he CAN be vocal...and Screams.. but usually he only makes

squeaky sounds.. theyre each so different yet in looks almost the

exact same, Dutch just has more white than LB..LB is the

bigger of the two..hes a big boy...

I have been fighting an upset stomach all day.. I don't know if

its because of food and pizza..or maybe cookies and fudge..

lol.. something anyway has not agreed with me.. I don't know

whether to just stay in my chair and sleep here at the computer

or try going to bed..but that roll from there to the bathroom ,

well. it does take a while and a lot of effort..so this may be the

wise decision..just stay right here.. I take naps right here ..I

just grab a pillow off the couch and lean forward..it works. I

should get out of this chair for a while..ive been in it now since

4am..but well. I don't think I should maybe risk it lol.. The

reminders are still very present every day of living in a wheel

chair.. so many things you have to just Do.. or well BE in DO DO

... aint that the truth.?

Im NOT eating any thing and I think just a can of ice tea.. I have

Nestea.. its not too bad..Im not real keen on lemon in it but its

not too bad.. I always keep it and water in the fridge.. I like a

nice cold bottle of water and so do the boys.. Penny came today,

she is better, I was so glad.. she will be here again tomorrow

to make up for the time she missed..shes so nice..very good

worker and very energetic.. shes doing a great job.. Time to

grab a pillow and take a snooze Im really tired.. Nitey Nite..
