~Chair Movin~

I mentioned that when I get this loaner power chair, if

and when I get it..that it will be 2 inches smaller than

what my seat is now.. on my chair lol. it measures 20

inches across by 20.. I took some photos today to show

why I had mine made bigger. The MAIN reason I did

was because my left stump is longer, if I had left it at

18 X 18, which was the original size, guess that's standard,

it would have extended past the end of the chair and

cushion which I found out VERY fast is NOT comfy at all.

I sit all sorts of ways in my chair..sideways, backwards,

any way I want because I did have it enlarged.. :-) ya ya

I know .."chair shrinkage caused by FOOD" lol..well it

can do that too..butt that's not MY reason :-D

So I thought I would take some sitting facing back, front

and sideways..lol..give you some idea that really I do

have some extra room in my chair.. Sometimes, when

I have company or I am talking to my counselor I sit like

I am above..its very comfy and gets my arms off my elbows

kinda and its just a different way to sit than the same same

all the time..I enjoy it myself..as long as I don't fall out of it..

and Ive been over that..AND I am not going to fall out to be

able to show pics of me sitting on the FLOOR! I just have

a problem about getting on the floor, people with shoes walk

on it..and Penny does vacuum it at least twice a week...well

you have to keep down on cat hair..my boys shed. but I

don't do floors in any way, shape or bodily form...lol.. :-)

These last 2 are a bit farther away, but you can see I am

quite comfy like this and do have plenty of room. I will be

SO glad when I get darker curtains for that bedroom in

more ways than ONE..the glare..but note the time..that's

the afternoon sun..that's a south window behind me in

the bedroom.. I am so glad to have this cordless mouse,

its just hard to see the monitor to see when I am far enough

away or out of focus or what ever..but you get the general

idea.. I can sit any which way..:-) but cant ALL Weebles?

I still end up straight on and forward.. :-)

notice anything out of the usual on the back of a BLACK wheel

chair? hmmm? up top of the back..over on the left there a bit..

see those 2 white spots? I was gonna take them out but..well..I

left them on.. its white paint lol see? I get that CRAP everywhere.

HOW did I get it on the BACK of my chair? ohhh I know..I bet

when I released the tipper back there you can see the tipper

very easily this way..and a little dot on them..that's the release

for them to fall off into the paint tray :-D they know how to do

THAT I KNOW!! :-)

So.. there you see me doing a total circle in my chair..interesting?

I fit quite nicely and I really am glad that I did have it made bigger

but then again by doing that I do have a harder time getting thru

the doors here..I cannot hold onto my wheels or I will knock all the

skin off my knuckles scraping the door frame going through it..

NOT because im a bad driver or anything and RUN into them :-D

I do kinda watch what I eat though ..and even though I write about

my blue berry doughnuts I don't eat a lot of sweets..every once in

awhile my sweet tooth will act up and I HAVE to have something

really sweet like cake or frosted cupcakes or something. I honestly

could say I am really a vegetarian.. my one meat I like is BEEF..

I use that more than anything to make spaghetti sauce etc.. I

drink coffee and only put sugar in. I put in 3 teaspoons of sugar..

say it "like a little coffee with your sugar,do ya?" lol.. yes.. but I

only drink perhaps 1 or 2 cups a day some times only 1.. I have

thought about getting a coffee grinder though and making really

fresh ground coffee I bet that would be good. I cant afford to make

my chair BIGGER..then I really would be stuck and couldn't go

room to room :-)

I think tonite its hot chocolate..and toast..ever dunk buttered

toast in it? really good.. I love that. :-) so that's where Im headed..
