~Baby Its COLD Outside~

It is so cold out today that even the walls are cold.. The

temperature is sposta steady drop..The lunch girl said

the roads , well the side and back roads are pretty bad

in spots..Its been snowing off and on all day but doesn't

seem to be that much more added., not that I can see..

I got a mail from a friend that's going off to Burmuda for

a couple weeks.. That would be nice..to be all nice and

sunny and warm..but then you get to come back to what

you had to get away from..lol. that's the only bad part..its

always nice to go but there still is no place like home. Oh,
right now the temperature is 14 degrees..

Ive had such awful sleep habits lately, I wake up at 2 or 3

wide awake, I get up and stay up till like 8 or 9 then get

so tired I almost just sleep on my keyboard.. I don't really

know what the problem is.. I guess just the stress and the

not getting things I really need, especially the railing for

around the potty... I went to scoot forward..and the brake

on the right side slips all the time.. and with no railings or

anything..this is getting to be really scarey.. I went to move

the brake gave and the seat being so tippy since those

Velcro, useless stick on pads they have ..well they don't

hold that seat down with someone the weight of me pulling

it the opposite way..the seat started to tip and I had not

one thing there to grab on to and I just did the same as I

did once before just fell back into my chair..and hoped

it wouldn't move far enough away to drag me off that seat.

If it had I would have hit the floor.. This is twice now.. I, of

course, as soon as I could pull my butt back up to sitting

came straight in here to the phone and called Sandra over

at ADP and of course guess what I got? " I am either away

from my desk or on another call, please leave a message"

well this is the 3rd one I left her this week and today is

Friday.. I guess she doesn't check her messages as often

as her message says "I check my messages frequently"

she says..ya..she may do that but she doesn't call back..I

would say she doesn't cuz nothing has been done and she

has to check to see what the status is..and so that no call

back tells me better than she could in words..NOTHING

has been done..so its more calling next week.. AGAIN.

I havent heard back from Deborah at the insurance place

about my chair and ive called her twice this week..So that

kinda tells me where that is at also..Nothings being done.

I just don't understand this..but I guess with so many that

need help now, specially around here with hardly any real

work..Although its a busy little town..There are so many

around here that don't have jobs.. Alma's husband still

cant find one and hes looked everywhere.. . I guess too

you have to have the experience and with so many out of

work around here that the employers know that the guys

with the real experience are going to be coming and maybe

save the jobs hoping they can get these guys and at the

same rate of pay as the less experienced ones.. I am really

glad I don't have to go out and compete in the job market.

The kids in high school now I hope realize just what its going

to take to make it by the time they get into their 40's or so..

I dread to think how bad its really maybe going to be for all

of us..well I don't think I will be here in 40 years ... Boy, I

would be 102 wow.. My dads birthday was January 28th..he

would have been 107..If he was alive I bet he still would be

out in his garage and still going fishing at daybreak..

My boy phoned yesterday and he is so pleased with all the

snow..Donnie says "Gran, guess what Im gonna do tonite?"

he was on his cell phone on his way home.. I knew what he

was gonna say.. Hes so anxious and waited so patiently

for this snow so he can ride his snomobile.. They are fun. I

have never ridden one..They have special groomed trails

for them that go all over this state and you can ride for ever.

Up North..my Uncle Stanley had a nice big farm..his son,

well my cousin, Willard, sold snowmobiles..and they would

invite the family out on a Saturday or Sunday and Willard

would bring enough snowmobiles for everyone to ride.. It

was a lot of fun.. I never did get to go..this was after I left

home to pursue a life and life was going on still back home

that sometimes I think I should have stayed there and not

left to "SEE THE WORLD" Sometimes me thinks Ive seen

TOO MUCH of the world now..lol.. Donnie said he put 32

miles on when he only ment to go a few..but once he gets

on it he just has the best time and keeps saying, "just a

little bit farther".. they keep the trails very well groomed and

they even have little stop signs for when the trail goes over

a road or driveway where someone could get hurt.. Ive heard

a lot of sad stories about some rides people have taken and

I hope well I know Donnie is a safe rider but then I know how

men are too . no offense lol..

I look back at this post and just before I started to write it I

said .."hmm, I don't have nuthin to write about to day" Ya..

sure looks like it 5 paragraphs I see here lol. Boy, my

nuthin is something I guess :-) My life to me just doesn't seem

to be that exciting at all..dull really anymore..but I have found

something to write about every day now for over a year ..

hmmm.. I wonder if that means I DO have an exciting life and

just cant see it? ..It is exciting..just living with these 2 cats, its

a riot.. I never know what to expect, I do out of LB..but the

boy..well . I had to pry him off the clock today again.. He loves

that thing almost breaks my heart to see him mooning over

it so much..He seems to miss the chimes.. I may boot her up

again just to let him hear her.. Yes..I decided to say the

clock is a she.. lol.. I swear my friend that sent it to me put

catnip or something on it.. I have never seen this before. I

have heard tho that there are other cats that do this too.. I

guess its something in the tone. I wish he would come to me

that fast when I call him.. That clock starts the first BONG,

and he jumps straight up and runs to it.. amazing..

Time for me to run too.. im tired as usual and from doing

not a single thing today but write emails and play that

spider solitare..Im up to 2 colors though.. not too bad..

Oh, Lewis didn't come and put this other window in.. I hope

he will tomorrow.. below zero this week end.. and that's

NOT good.. specially for the homeless and those poor

animals lost and out there.. I feel for them so bad.. I look at

my boys all snug and warm and fed and happy and think of

all those out there that have no one to love them..how sad..
I hate to think of it, and now with the snow and cold I know

many will freeze to death.. My boys and I may have a few

drafty spots in here but I am sincerely thankful I have this

place for us so we can be safe and warm..and I will make

sure my boys have all they need.. well theyre my kids lol..

Time to end this and head off to find the eyes shut button

on my TV clicker lol.. Nitey nite :-)
