~The Roof Crew~

Well there you see the work crew yesterday, Ken Sr, on the roof,

Ken Jr, on the ladder, and the one WATCHING, is Chris, my land

lord..although Ken Sr. is the real owner of this house.. The blue

thing on the ground is the tarp they had over the roof in case it rains.

Boy, that cedar tree there sure needs trimmed, just like the one on

the other side.. To sit here and listen to constant hammering was

and is NOT easy to take.. I swear they just deliberately dropped

stuff it seemed.. It sounded like Kenny was stompin the plywood in

place.. And on top of that he had his radio blasting right underneath

the window.. You can see my air conditioner sticking out of the bed

room window.. The window next , is the bathroom...Im so glad to

get the roof fixed, but I WAS SO GLAD when the pounding stopped.
I guess Chris is the official ladder holder, that's him standing

there.. Penny told them what she was doing, taking photos for

me to put on my blog.. I asked Penny if they were keeping their

wood and supplies in the garage, and she said no..so I have

no idea why Kenny keeps going in there....I mentioned that he

forgets to turn the light off..well he did yesterday too.. Im gonna

be mean Monday and when I hear their saw crank up .. well Im

going to shut the light switch off..will make Kenny come in here

and I will tell him AGAIN..Shut the light off before you go home.

If I hadnt checked it would still be on now...I don't have the highest

reguard for the way these people do business.. I really don't.. I

dread the thought of what it will be like here in my living room

when he gets around to fixing the ceiling. There are old roof pieces

all over outside..My little flower bed is full of them..I plan to tell

him about that too..If Robert comes to mow tomorrow I don't want

him to hit something and get hurt or something.. Any sort of job

like this..the clean up is what tells how good a job they did.. In our

tree company..we made SURE there wasn't even a leaf left..the

yards didn't even look like we had been there ..well unless it was

a removal and then all was left was some dirt on the ground in one

spot..Clean up counts..
Its not very clear, taken through the kitchen window..but you can

see my beauties have grown.. the one on the left has 2 little

jewels hanging on it for me.. time..all it takes..and I KNOW how

good those are gonna taste..and I cant wait...you can see how

badly the grass needs cut again..Im glad its greener tho..was

looking so dry and scorched.. I watched the news and am just

sick to hear about the forest fire in the UP of Michigan.. By

Newberry.. Its all national forrest up there and they say it is

so dry its like a tinder box.. My sister & Stanley have a lot of

friends live in that area..hes been calling and keeping tabs..

last count was close to 2000 acres so far I think.. lightening

strike is what started it they said on the news.. I hope they

get it out.. Ive seen the results of one they had up there and

was so sad to see for miles nothing but charred wood..and

the smell of it.. was such a bad thing.. to look at it now it is

growing back and it does look encouraging..maybe its a way

to keep the forrest thinned down in areas for the animals to

have a nice place to play? :-)

There is a photo taken today of my left elbow..it doesn't look good

does it? You can see the difference in the color of my upper arm..

This is why the Dr is so concerned..she believes this infection is

causing the swelling and the fluid that is there on the very elbow tip.

It looks dry as I hadnt put the itchy cream on yet and I was getting

tired and I needed to take a rest.. But it does worry me and now you

can see that it has not improved since the last photo I put here of it..

and hurt? ohh LORDY ..it does today alot..I bumped it really hard

yesterday and LB stepped on it last nite.. I cant put it any WAy so

that it doesn't really hurt.. so there you see my ickky elbow..

Now.. I tried 3 times today, no 4 ..to take my blood pressure and I

even changed the batteries and checked the air tube connections.

and it just will not read.. just keeps saying EE..meaning error.. It

only pumps up to 171 ..and yesterday it went higher..it pumped

twice ..now it wont do that.. and I have no idea why.. On Monday

I will call the Dr or maybe Julia at APS, and get a new one..I have

to have one..Drs orders.. I am supposed to call next week with a

report on how my BP is doing..well if I cant take it I cant tell her

nothing..so.. I will call Monday.. I think with the infection is what is

making my pressure go up.. and making me feel so puny.. by

puny I mean..no energy..not really bad..but well iccky..:-)

ANYWAYS, im ok though.. really, don't worry be happy, got to be.

I havent eaten today..to be truthful I just havent had the energy to

go out there and make anything.. Penny said she might come by

after shes done with her Saturday client and make some sauce

for me.. I have some in the freezer .. and I forgot I did..so she wont

need to.. She phoned yesterday evening to check on me..that was

so nice of her..shes worried bless her heart.. shes a good kid..

So I may just make a PB & J sammich..its fast and easy..ohh I know

I have a fast frankie in the fridge..and theyre really good and easy

to make..just what the Dr ordered..easy .. "Nitey Nite" :-)
