~Roofed Today Too~

Busy busy day today, since I got up.. Penny came at 9 and I

bet she was glad to leave here .. I had a list, well that way I wont

forget anything that needs done... Although I did forget that Lori

was coming today..I didn't remember till she walked in the door!

Of course the boys greeted her and Penny was gone off to the

store and doing some errands.. I wanted to get things done so I

made a list to make sure I did.. and I have gotten all done that I

wanted to.. What I didn't know was that Kenny hadnt finished the

roof..They showed up today too..

Kenny and get this.. CHRIS..showed up..each in their own new

pick up trucks..Kennys is blue..Chris has a black one..Daddy drives

that sporty little white thing.. Shows the smart one hey? All 3 are

supposedly single I think.. Although myself? I would honestly rather

have the pick up truck.. I love those things..you can see so much

better.. I liked driving mine..Willie always had a truck .Anyway, they

both showed up about 9..and brought another one of those things

to put the trash into..In fact its still here and they will be back tomorrow.

I didn't know they hadnt finished..Penny said they had put a tarp on

the roof..That's what I said to do :-) ..

Well before Kenny left, he had to come in and shut off the outside

light they had to use to get electricity for a saw, and the light switch

was in side here.. This kid is soaking we from sweat, his face is so

red and hot..He had to keep wiping his forehead as the droplets

were getting into his eyes.. I told him to stay for a minute and get

something cold to drink and cool off for a bit..that he should do that

if he gets too hot out there..I didn't want him falling off the roof..GAWD

that's ALL I would need to see out my window is Kenny falling off the

roof and hitting the ground from heat stroke. I hope he doesn't do

that.. and will come in and cool off.. He said he would and appreciated

that I offered that to him.. He got a Orange Sunkist soda and stayed

for about 15 or 20 minutes and he said they are going to replace the

whole roof..they have to its pretty bad especially here right over where

I am sitting.. I could tell it was when I looked at the photos Penny took

before from across the street that I posted here..they will be back

again tomorrow..

My arm..well elbow is not any better.. Its not any worse either.. It is

still very sore.. I cant put my elbow down or any where close to it

or it will hurt.. its still swollen..I showed it to Lori and she said of

course "when is your Drs appointment?. soon I hope." she thought

it looks a tad worrysome..and It is.. I worry because its so dark..

and the pain.. I try to remember if I bumped it or something..and to

be honest I have bumped it.. when I go thru the doors..I know I have,

but I don't remember any serious one.. but then could be I hit once

just the right spot.. I have no idea..I am so curious to find out.. I do

know she, as in the Dr had better be able to tell me what is wrong

without me going thru a lot of other crap to find out..Now..THEN I

would NOT be happy.. Just never fails.. seems the harder I try the

behinder I get! :-)

I have my pot roast on with onions and potatoes..and YES.. even

those orange things are in it.. well carrots do add flavor.. I just

don't like the taste of them by themselves..ick..I don't care whats

on them or what theyre in.. I don't like them.. I will give them all

their due.. I read where the AMA, said that carrots were a known

cancer retardant..which I firmly believe.. that the carrotine in them

will fight cancer.. My friend, in Texas.. was diagnosed..she religiously

every day made herself fresh carrot juice.. 6 months later they did

NOT find the cancer in her ..it was gone. I believe in the power of

certain combinations of veggies and plants are what they used to

use before they had these tiny little stinkin pills that cost over 300

dollars to get filled at the drugstore..its awful..My sister told me

what hers cost.. I am so glad I don't have to pay for mine.. well I

couldn't and just wouldn't have them to take..

Time to get the last things done before my company gets here,

I cant be looking like Suzy frump..I am GORGEOUS you know..
