~Many Blessings~ :-)

I called the Social Security office today about that letter telling me I owed them 265 dollars.. I almost blew a gasket on that one.. I bet I was on hold for at least 20 minutes so I'm glad it was their 800 number.. the music they have you listen to gave me a rotten headache..maybe that's so you wont keep waiting..Well I talked to a sweet lady named Jill..I explained everything to her and she put me on hold for 10 minutes and came back and said.."Lois, that letter you got you can destroy, I have waived that debt as it wasn't your fault and in a few weeks you should get another letter stating you do not owe us anything".. I was so relieved.. how nice was that? I am so pleased.. this was a blessing..they just never stop...I can breathe a sigh of relief on that.. The repair shop phoned back and I will have to get someone to go all the way to the next town to take my puter in.they do not come and pick them up... I will have to wait till Penny gets here to see if she will make that drive for me. If I give her gas money I have no doubt she will go if she can fit it into her busy schedule.. So far as things stand, I plan to get a new one as all I am hearing is that it has crashed but perhaps I can get the hard drive out and put it into another computer.. The one they have on hold for me at the store I think would be the best one to get and the best thing to do.. I will get it either today or tomorrow.. If it turns out mine can be fixed I will have 15 days to return the new one..I would rather my other puter but if it cant be saved it cant be..I just cannot be with out one... When I got to this desk Saturday morning and looked at my puter just sitting there, no lights , nothing.. I just sat and stared at it thinking to my self just WHAT was I going to do NOW... I get so discouraged and upset., but in the end as long as I keep looking up things do seem to straighten out... I think this is HIS way of pointing out to us that we DO have blessings..many of them..that's why we have the down times.. so we do appreciate all the good.. I have so many blessings that happen to me daily but when a bad thing does happen it over shadows the good things..if we let it.. I try not to..but sometimes.. well I will be honest ... I do get down and whiney and do have a little pity party for myself..but when I do and get past that..I count my blessings again.. I may be legless and living the rest of my life in this chair.. but boy.. I have SO very much to be grateful for and I honestly am.. Things do get better.. we just have to look up and the light is there... Lunch was its usual guess what.. and needless to say I didn't eat it..so I'm going to make a Philly steak sandwich with some wonderful sauteed onions.. I have some great onion rolls I had Penny pick up for me and this will be a very good lunch.. I plan to call Penny later to find out about Eddie..Hes in hospital in Wyoming and poor Penny is very concerned.. His son and wife drove her car out there and the boy is going to drive Eddies truck back and deliver the load on it while his wife brings Eddie back.. They don't know what is the matter with him and Penny is really worried.. So I want to call and see if she is ok or needs anything..shes a good friend besides taking good care of me.. Today was a good day, thanks to my dear friends and the sweet lady at the SS office.. I'm most happy.. Now if I can get a email from my son I will be even happier!
