~I Did Good~ :-)

Well did I do good? On the way to the potty I knocked down a
little bowl of macaroni and cheese, it popped open and all
the elbow macaroni and cheese went all over the floor..These
are the little individual serving ones.. You see the mess..the door
to the bathroom is straight on..and the door to the living room
is on the right.. I was feeling my way to the bathroom and I didn't
know Penny had put them there on that shelf there on the left in
the hallway .. well.. I found out the hard way..
Those little noodles went the whole length of that hallway..not a
long one..but enough.. I sat there and tried to figure out a way to
pick them up but with no broom...well I had to come up with some
thing else.. Those elbow macaroni didn't stand a chance under
these wheels.. I rolled over so many of them its pitiful.. I could
hear the "CRUNCH CRUNCH CRUNCH" as I rolled over them..
I had no choice... I had to get out of the bathroom and find some
thing to pick them up.. I have my dustpan with the long handle..but
I don't have a little broom.. I have looked too.. I wanted a little girls
cleaning set as I KNOW it would have a broom..well shoot.. I looked
and looked and didn't find anything.. I guess they arent teaching
little girls to clean anymore..not with a broom anyway.. So I got smart
finally and grabbed a dish towel and sort of dragged those noodles
into a pile and then sort of pushed them onto the dust pan..There
are still a few pieces here and there but Penny will be here tomorrow
and she can get the rest of it.. Im good I'll tell ya.. at least I tried to
clean it up.. :-)
I want you to look at my roses over by the garage.. I saw that out
there this moring and I had to smile..They are so pretty.. I wish
those vines were fixed better and theres a tree next to it I think
should come out.. Its gonna be a big tree and right next to the
garage like that I don't think the garage is gonna move..and that
tree gets too big well it would overtake the garage..Then what
would Donnie do with out all his stuff in there ? He says I need a
bigger place so he can have another place to store his goodies..
His pontoon he keeps up at Mikes and I think some other stuff
he keeps at Dawns parents house...hes got stuff all over.. :-)
Well there you see my baby all out and proud and shiney.. Isnt she
pretty? that's the machine that my friend Ceola gave me.. I plugged
it in yesterday and opened her up and she purred better than my
boys.. If you look under neath you will see 2 arrows and one dash
line.. they are pointing at the lever or pedal that I push against with
my thigh to run this machine.. I still havent gotten a chair situated
yet and Im not sure if I can stay in this chair and take the arm rests
off and it may work.. If not.. there under the desk on the right is a
bench that came with this machine.. This sewing head did NOT
come in this cabinet..it was put in it..Its a very old SINGER sewing
head..well machine.. The cabinet was added later.. She has a
button hole attachment too ..I never use buttons on anything I make
but its handy to have.. When I made all the flannel shirts for my
ex's I never used buttons I used snaps.. was easier and faster and
the guys liked them too.. But shes open and ready for business..I
think its quilting time :-)

My next business of the day is to go out and fix my steak.. Penny
got it for me yesterday on sale..1.99 a pound..chuck steak and
cooked right they are good.. Im going to brown it..then put in
onion of course..and my seasonings I like.. and then I am going
to open a package of McCormick brown gravy, mix it up and
pour that over my steak and let her simmer for about an hour..
Then when its done I will put a tato in the nuker and I will have
a great dinner..Wanna join me? I have another steak! You're
most welcome :-) Got to run..but not before I put my most
GORGEOUS WEEBLE "nitey nite"

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? love ya and thanks :-)
Always, Lois ****

God Bless you, is my prayer today,
I'm so honored to call you "friend";
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until I write again.....

How to fix steak swiss style:
Get a range fattened steak. Pound it to loosen the gristle. Cut diagonal diamonds with a good knife. put a cut off a jelly-roll of wild herb-butter seasoning (McKormick) and butter. top each roll with a centered clove and broil steak to your tenderness.
