~Good and Bad Yesterday~

Yesterday was a good and a bad one as I said last

nite. Thanks for all the sweet comments and words of

encouragement, I needed them, trust me, I was so upset.

Was a hectic day and by the time I got into my bed last

nite, I was totally give out. I fell out of my chair last nite.

I was not paying attention...FIRST , I want to show you

a GOOD part of yesterday.. Meet Jeffery, my new lawn

care man. and is he a nice guy..Hes kinda thin, but that's

ok.. His hair..its longer than mine and beautiful, I told him

so.. SO that was the best part of yesterday ..but how

could a woman not enjoy that site out her window? I did,

well hey, I'm NOT dead YET!! :-D
Jeffery even brought me a zucchini from his garden.. now,

how nice is that? Hes a nice kid.. I would say maybe in

his or late 20's or so.. He did a great job on the yard, a lot

better than Robert and he had a rider.. Jeff used the push

mower, you see, and he was finished trimming and all in less

time than it took Robert.!. I hope COA gets to the bottom of

it with him..what hes doing is NOT right...

Ok, now to the iccky stuff.. I was upset really bad yesterday

and I wasn't paying attention last nite just before I left my puter

to go and watch TV.. I dropped one of my pill bottles that I hadnt

taken the pill out of yet so I had to reach and get it.. I didn't pay

attention after I rolled back, to lock down, I don't know if the

brake gave out again or what..but as I bent in half to pick up

the bottle, my chair went back and I ended up sitting on the

FLOOR in front of my desk.. I was SO MAD that I was so

careless and let this happen.. I KNEW I had nothing here to

help me get back in it.. I sat for I don't know how long and I

just could NOT figure out what to do to get back into my

chair.. THAT made me MORE upset.. I sat there for a bit

longer, I cried a bit and then I got SO MAD that I let things

bother me so badly that I endanger myself? What if I had hit

my head on the desk? Or landed wrong and put my hip out

of joint or broke it.. I cant let things get to me like this that I

am not careful..Penny phoned 3 times after she left , she

had never, in the over a years time shes been with me, seen

me this upset.. she was very worried, bless her heart..so

anyhowway......
I bet I was there on the floor for over an hour trying to get back

into my chair and I just had NO way to do it.. I am just NOT

strong enough to lift my whole body weight.. You see vids of

amputees just flyin in and out of their chairs so easily..Look

closer at the chairs.. they are not a regular one..its one that

is closer to the floor, that's why its easier... I finally had to

quit trying I was really getting tired.. I decided I would have

to call 911... I looked up and my phone was.. guess where?

Look at the photo of my computer.. my phone sits way up

on top of it.. so naturally I couldn't REACH it.. ahhh the joys

of being so bloomin short :-) Well this was another thing I had

to figure out HOW was I gonna get that phone with out making

it fall and damaging my desk much less the phone or ME...be

my luck the way it was going, it would probly have hit my head

and knocked me out or something :-D

Luckily, my favorite grabber was right by the couch, I got it-

grabbed the phone, VERY carefully, and dialed 911.. The

sweet lady that answered was so nice, I laughed as I told

her "help, ive fallen and I cant get up".. like on TV.. She kinda

laughed a very unsure sounding laff and said right away,
"Lois, are you ok, do you need help?" How she knew my name

I have NO idea but they knew it last time too.. I told her I

had done a stupid and fallen out of my chair and I had TRIED,

but I just could NOT drag my butt back into my chair..She said

"don't worry, as long as you are ok, I will send someone right

away".. I told her no real hurry I was fine that my butt hadnt

sat on the floor for a while and it was kinda ok to have some

thing hard to sit on, instead of a soft cushion .. :-D


Two young men, of course came and.. THANK GOD!! I looked

my GORGEOUS WEEBLE self.. They each got on one Side,

slid their hands under my stumps and lifted me so easy, like I

was light as a feather, and put me back into my chair.. I had

to apologize for sending for them but I was stuck.. They said

not to worry they didn't mind my kind of help call at all :-)...

After they left I immediately rolled into my bedroom and got

on my bed and I thanked GOD for that day and that it was

FINALLY OVER! and I went instantly to sleep, I did not watch

TV I did not see commericals.. I did not pass go or collect

200 dollars..(from Monopoly).. I didn't even get a SNACK !

Hey!, this lady was done IN!!! :-D I earned my tired :-D

Well, I'm getting a snack today, CAREFULLY, I might add.. I

have to make some adjustments so this doesn't happen again.

I ate lunch when Chris brought it, meatloaf..wasn't as good

as it usually is.. but I ate it.. Now my DIBS are waiting for me,

and I am CAREFULLY going to roll away from this desk for

today, but first my GORGEOUS WEEBLE "nitey nite"

Ps. DO NOT LOOK at the crooked candle on my desk.. I only

noticed when I took the photo !! :-) I cant see up there from

where I sit :-) gawd.. not evenly spaced EITHER !!! groan....
