~My NEW Computer!~

No one reminded me to show you my new computer!!

There it is.!. Do NOT look at my messy desk.!. I like

the USB on the front side. I keep it at an angle to give

it air and so Dutch doesn't get behind it..I don't know

what he thinks is behind the monitor and the big box

but I have to keep it blocked off.The computer is a HP

Compaq.The computer is fine, its the VISTA I really do

NOT like at all. I never got pop ups etc on my old one

like I do on this and its sposta have all that protection.

Plus Ive read some horror stories about it as well.. I

wish I could put my xp in it..

See on the left the gray box is my 3 in 1 scanner,

printer, copier too.. You see the controls on the right

side on the top there..The plastic cover I have over top

is because of the kid of course. He walks across the

desk there and on top the scanner, then sits behind it,

why , I have no idea other than he does it deliberately

just to see how long he can sit there before I tell him to

"GET OFF".At least this time I'm allowed to keep stuff

up on top this desk..When I was in the apartment I

wasn't ! No matter what it was I put up there they

knocked it off so they could lay down! Both of them,

not just the kid, that's how I lost my monitor.. I was

dumb enough to put a vase with WATER in it..up on

top..well the kid knocked it over, of course it dribbled

right into the top of my old monitor.. I learned the hard

way on that too ..If I put anything liquid on or NEAR

my desk I make sure it wont spill..like my coffee that

ive spilled a few times..I have a special spot that now,

only thing would knock it over would be a tornado...:-)

I met a new friend..shes an amputee as well AND she

lives not far from me.! Shes a new one, only 3 years..

Diabetic and other health issues.. I accidentally came

across her name, noticed she was an amputee and

lived in the same state as me, I had to message her..
I'm glad I did, she needed a friend, but don't we all..I

at least can perhaps give her a little more insight to

this life we have.. She is a RAK..Although bless her

heart she fears she may lose the other as well..and

whats harder is shes young. Well I guess she is the

same age as me when I started all this. I hope perhaps

I can help some.. Shes married and she has a hubby

that takes good care of her which I am so glad.. She

does have a prosthetic too, which I don't, when I was

a sak I used my chair most of the time..I will admit

that I had so much more freedom. I could still stand,

turn and depending how badly I wanted to jar my

brains out I hopped around my room..When I had to

use that stinkin walker for therapy I hated that cuz

they made me HOP the whole length of the hall..I

didn't have anyone to ask or discuss what was

happening to me.. They did send a counselor for a

while from the same place that Theresa comes from

CMH.. I don't remember who I had back then tho..so

much is still so hazy that I don't remember a lot of

detail.. which perhaps as bad as it was at times in

the hell home its probly good :-) I hope she and I can

be great friends.. we all need every one we can get.

Was a nice quiet day and I havent eaten anything so

I am very hungry...I have no idea what I want either,

maybe some shrimp..sounds good. I really try to

watch what I eat I don't want to gain any weight this

is hard enough as it is! I do try to not eat a lot of

junk food and my only baddie I guess are my ice

cream dibs. Penny even commented that I havent

been cooking like I usually did..But its just not that

easy, if it was I would cook some of my favs. I am

so hungry for my potato salad I may break down

and make some.. No one can make it like mine I

have a secret ingredient that my grandmother gave

my mother and she didn't really GIVE it to me but

I watched her cook, just like my Dolly used to

watch me ! :-) Time for some dinner and some TV

and mainly OUT of this chair. First my daily

GORGEOUS WEEBLE "nitey nite" :-)
