~A BAD Subject for Me~

Most of the time I have had this blog I try to avoid certain subjects

because I am so outspoken on certain things.. Wannabes are one of

them..They seriously upset me, and I feel are an insult to me and

all the amputees out there..I wasn't going to ever write about this,

but today I was provoked into it.. Remember these are MY

feelings on this..and No one elses.. only mine..so here goes, if I step
on any toes I apologize -but you wont feel it anyway cuz I aint got
no feet!!!! :-) anyway read my thoughts.......

I got into an argument today with a former friend in Germany.. I

guess this person is chatting to a person with BIID.. I know what

it is and I resent it a lot.. To me this is an insult to an amputee.. I

cannot condone these people.. To me they are sick..seriously sick

and I sort of feel sorry for them that they don't like themselves

at all and want to remove parts of their bodies.. I don't

understand Its not a good Christian attitude and I feel bad

for that.. but I just cant understand it..I saw a program on TV

about this on that 20 20.. I was so mad by the time it was over I

could hardly stand it.. They interviewed all these people that wanted

to have their legs taken off..if a doctor wouldn't do it one of them,

a woman, tried to do it herself quite a few times.. They didn't give

equal time to a real amputee tho..or show a discussion with a

wannabe and a amputee either. I felt the show was totally wrong..

One of the men that was on the show had already cut his legs off

himself. He sat there in his chair and looked sad..said "I miss the

feel of the sand on my feet".. The other man said..that still had his,

"what difference does it make if theyre gone, I will just get fake

ones".. now.. why want them off then? I honestly don't understand

why a person would hate their bodies so badly to want to cut off

their legs? It makes me furious.. I told one person that messaged

me..they made the horrible mistake and said they were a wannabe

and wanted to know what it was really like to be a dak.. I got so

mad.. I felt insulted..how rude.. I did not chat to them..I don't agree

with this BIID I think its just a way to get approval and condone how

they feel- so they had to come up with a name for it.. I don't under

stand it.. I think they are lazy and just want a legal way not to

work so become disabled..my feelings.....

Needless to say this confrontation about wannabes really upset my

day.. I don't approve and want no parts of it I think its an insult to

all the rest of us that had NO choice but to be an amputee. This

subject wont be discussed here again .. unless I am asked. This is a

very sore subject for me like religion and politics and I hope you

understand my feelings better than my former friend in Germany.
This is just not acceptable..to ME..

Well now that I have ranted and raved about these sick people I'm

gonna get off this computer for today.. I got up at 430 this morning

and I need to get out of this chair and relax.. I apologize if I have

upset anyone with these thoughts on this very bad subject but its

how I feel.. Now, I'm gonna go get some of my dibs and eat every

one of them and get this sick stuff out of my head..So until I write

tomorrow, "Nitey Nite"... :-)
