~Looky What I Saw Today~ :-)

Looky at what was out back today. I have been trying to get

a photo of this blue jay forever!! I was taking a photo of the

tree, I thought it would be nice to document its turning... I

had the camera up and thru that window viewer I couldn't

really see the bird, I happened to glance up and saw him and

my finger clicked so fast I'm glad it didn't make it really

blurry... But I sure enjoy seeing these beautiful birds.. They

know when that feeder is full of fresh seed and you can

see how many are there in the photo below.
Beautiful fall day today, cool and nice. I don't guess I will

be going on the COA bus tour tomorrow as Millie didn't call

me back. Which for the COA is about their speed.. I will

call Monday and make sure Millie made my appointment for

a ride to Wal Mart Wednesday.. I'm really looking forward

to it.. I may even look up the manager there and talk to her

about the chair I picked out.. Wouldn't it be nice if it went

on sale !!! :-) I have a Dr appt on the 23 but its at 415 and I

don't like the time at all.. I may call and see if I can get one

for the office I went to.. It was a nice ride up there and It

will be really pretty next week....so 2 days in a row I will be

going out.. NOW, that's a record :-)
The boy phoned this morning and of course he was at the race

track.. he will be over later today or perhaps tomorrow, he has

some plastic and offered to put it up for me and take the AC

out of the window.. That would be so great.. Then I will call

and get rid of the bed, and fix the bedroom windows next

Saturday when Kelli is coming.. She phoned last nite as well.

It will be so nice to get that worry over with.... :-)

I have a friend that has offered to make some stump boots

for me.. I don't know if I would ever really use them as my

stumps arent conditioned for walking on the ends.. I will try

them though.. as it is most kind of him to make them.. Hes

made quite a few pair before along with peg legs for single

amputees.. I'm most anxious to see the first pair he is

making for another DAK. All he needs is the measurements

around them.. and the length..I told him to make them if

he wanted to but I also requested that he photograph them

as he progresses with the making of them.. I think it would

be most interesting... I have been invited to go out and

observe their making which I am seriously considering..

Its very nice in California this time of year.. and it would

be a great train ride too ! Plus I could use a holiday :-)

Ive not decided what my Saturday dinner will be.. I had

a great tomato sandwich for lunch and I may just make one

for my dinner.. fresh garden tomatoes these are and the

taste is like no other... So I don't need to tell you how great

that first sandwich was and I know this 2nd one will be too!

Time to get out of this chair, was another early rising day,

4:10 am...so I'm tired of sitting on this hard cushion...

its time for my nightly progress to my bed.. first, of course,

my GORGEOUS WEEBLE "nitey nite". :-)
