~Im NOT Ungrateful, but~

I don't mean to sound ungrateful but.. well look at that photo.

Does that look appetizing to you? Sure doesn't to me.. I saw

that sitting on my kitchen table for me to eat and well I just

cant eat it.. It looks like worms. Its supposed to be BBQ beef.

Shredded I guess. Looks just bad to me. How can seeing some

thing like this encourage someone to eat? Most of the people

that get Meals on Wheels are seniors, sure they don't eat as

much, but still look how much is there.. not hardly much at all.

When Carla was here I mentioned to her about that. Why don't

they give a better portion with lunch.. Then the left overs can

be for supper? They want to do a thing they call a 'suppersack'.

a sandwich and desert is about what it amounts to. They had it

before and they really werent that great... The dinners from

there can be doctored up; spices or what ever added to make

it taste better. so that's not too bad.. But I seriously think they

need to fix their presentation of the food, if it doesn't look good

who would want to even taste it? Getting these free is a blessing,

yes.. but I seriously think that whomever is in charge of this,

preparation for delivery, needs to re evaluate... for me it doesn't

matter that much, but I know for a fact there are many that

depend on these dinners.. I don't think that's a lot to expect-

your food to look halfway eatable... I hope Carla takes into

consideration all I mentioned to her.. Many seniors or disabled

wont complain.. cuz then we are threatened for our services

to be cut. I know that FIRST hand.. They cut mine ....

it will look like its on fire out there the colors are so vibrant... My

glories are on their last days, the flowers you can see how much

smaller they are.. I happened to think that only just one blue

glory bloomed for me out there this year.. I am hoping next year

when we get that chicken wire all over this side of that fence,

that they will totally cover it.. That would be so beautiful... I

love the change of seasons... I got a email from my Dolly and she

and Jorge may come up Saturday to help me fix the house for

winter.. That would be so nice, plus I will get time with Alex,

Ive not held him yet, I am most anxious to hold him, I had that

awful rash and was so afreaid to give it to him.. which now I

know I wouldn't have but better safe than sorry.. :-)

LB is worrying me. I think my boy has asthma really bad.. Every

day he has to totally stop and he crouches down and starts to

do these wheezee sounds.. Its not a hair ball or anything cuz

he doesn't do that... and its gotten worse the longer we are in

this house.. Makes me think that it may be because of the

moldy smell that is in the basement STILL.. I noticed yesterday

when Penny had the door open to the basement the smell was

back.. The paint and washing didn't take it out but for a few

days.. Looks better down there but.. it still stinks... With the

furnace on it blew all that smell up here big time.. Made ME

sneeze... :-)

I have not done one thing today but slept till 7 which I was

so GLAD to do.. I slept from 4 to 7 and didn't wake up one

time... that's good for me.. Usually every few hours I wake

up and of course have to look at the time.. I have at the

least ONE clock in every room.. Even the bathroom.. and I

have flashlights and radios in every room.. Just in case.. I

got that from my mother, she did the same thing.. Well,

like she said, you never know, so be prepared then you

will be safe.. I'm kinda like that.. I don't take chances

and I am prepared... Id be better prepared if my boy

would agree to let me have a gun... But he says he wont

come over here if I buy one.. :-) I have NO idea why

either that he would feel that way :-) Not like I would

deliberately shoot someone.. only in defense. I know if I

am in my powerchair Donnie about cringes when he sees

me in that. I think cuz he knows I have a tendency to run

over toes with that chair.. They should come equipped with

horns.. I tap my rings on the metal wheel if the boys get in

front of me- they KNOW to MOVE! Here comes Mom!! :-)

Well I am done for today, no mail yesterday and I totally

forgot and put the netflix out to be sent back.. so now I

am even ANOTHER day later in returning it.. theres no

late charges but the sooner you send it back they send

the next one ! So I will have one by Friday possibly even

Thursday if it goes today.. I didn't eat that lunch so I

may fix some fish. I fried some Sunday and kept a few

pieces for Penny, she loves fish but none of her bunch

does so she cant fix it at home.. She is the resident

dinner cook at a adult foster care home now.. So she has

been going thru my recipes which I told her I would

most definitely guarantee as being good.. My moms and

grammas? They are good ones. Its that time again for

me to say my GORGEOUS WEEBLE "nitey nite".
