~Door Day!~ :-)

Carl showed up right at 9 and started to work on the

door.. By 11 he had it cut out and ready to frame and

paint.. Hes a very fast worker. Plus he does an excellent

job.. He even brought his shop vac to clean up after!

NOW, that IS good.. Penny didn't show up today, shes

not feeling well but promises to come tomorrow.. So I

am really glad that Carl vacuumed for me so I wouldn't

have to get the beast out to clean up the mess..
As soon as he left to get the wood he needs I of course

went and tried my new doorway.. IT WORKS GREAT !!!!

Its so nice to not have to transfer to go in there. I can

turn around in there even so I don't have to back out!

I'm not a good backer upper so that's a very good thing!
I took before and after pics, and you can see the marks

left in the door frame from the chair wheel. They don't

put anything over them, just bolts sticking out.. on all

my chairs the front wheels are like that, which they

sure could fix I would think.. save damaging doors ! I

had to touch up my kitchen cabinets cuz of the wheel

scrapes...
Of course the kids had to check it out.. That's LB . It

is about 10 inches that hes taken off the doorway and

It is amazing the difference. I can get in there so

easy.. I may make a curtain for the door.. When any

one asks to use it they always notice "theres no door"

is what they all say... So for privacy sake I may make

one. I have some great material now so I can ! :-)
While Carl was fixing my door I made my great grand

Alex a pair of jammies.. Taz ... they don't take hardly

any time at all to make... He will be a year in April.. Time

sure is flying.. its already February, and ive been in

this new place for over 2 months now... almost 3, the 26th.

THEN while Carl was gone the phone rang and was the

stove guy. Said they got the part and would be over about

2 to fix my oven.. Now.. is THIS a good day or what? My

door fixed, my stove fixed.. its a GOOD day.. I'm most

pleased.. I LOVE when things go good...get fixed and all

is well..

Only one way to make this day better and that's to EAT.

I havent eaten all day just to be on the safe side.. After

reading about the eggs on Wills comment, well.. I didn't

eat them yesterday but I might today ! :-) Anyhoway,
