~I Slept Late~ :-)

I slept late today, can you believe it? The boys were so
mad at me, theyre ready to eat at 4! :-) I rolled out of
bed at 7:30.. that's very late for me.. But I have been
trying to stay up later though so that I can sleep later.
Getting up too early makes a very long day. I usually log
off this computer in the afternoon, usually by 3 or so,
then I stay in my chair till about 6 or so then I get on
my bed.. sometimes I stay in my chair longer depends
if I doze off or not, when I do that, THEN I KNOW
to get out of this chair as fast as I can or I will be on
the floor..and I don't go there :-) not willingly anyway..
I have a problem staying awake once I get comfy on
my bed, I still say its the TV clicker, it has a button
on it that if I hit it, it shuts me off as fast as it does
the TV ! :-) seems that way anyway... I KNOW no
one else has that problem :-)

I have been working today on the bench and I am
cutting out the curtains so I can have them done by
tomorrow when Penny gets here. I know she will be
late getting here tomorrow as she is going shopping for
me at Meijers before she leaves to come here. This
little Village Market that's here doesn't carry a variety
of anything, let alone cat food, so she gets it from Meijers.
She could go to Meijers in Coldwater which isnt that far,
but shes right there and its sort of on the way to get here
kinda, well.. a few blocks out of the way... But when she
does get here I want her to have the curtains to put up.
The one on the door looks so very nice, and the lace just
makes it a tad fancier than the cotton print curtains in
there. Then to get my plates on the wall.. my kitchen will
be excellent.. Well IF I get this oven fixed..

I did put in a call to Joe about WHEN are they going to fix
the oven.. When that lady called last week she said she would
find out WHEN.. well I've still not heard.. Takes 4 weeks to
get a oven element? Wonder where hes ordering it from,
As long as its taking I would say hes ordering it from Brazil!
:-) IF they even HAVE this part... which, between you and me,
I hope they don't and he has to replace the stove ! Then he
could make sure the knobs arent on the back of the stove.
I will be glad when its fixed so we can make some cookies.
I have a recipe for molasses cookies that are THE best and
I havent made them or ate them in YEARS... was, of course,
my mothers.. I should put a recipe book together of my
favs.. since I can guarantee every one of my recipes are THE
very best.. and very tasty.. :-)

I hear my sewing machine calling me to hurry and get the
curtains finished so I best finish this post for today.. I
got a mail from a new friend that has been reading this
blog, I was so very pleased to hear and know that my
writings are enjoyed.. Means a lot to me to know this...
So Thanks for writing and letting me know.. NOW, its
time to put my GORGEOUS WEEBLE "G'day , G'day".

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? love ya, and Thanks!
ALways, Lois ****

"God Bless You", is my prayer today.
I'm honored to call you "friend".
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until I write again.....

Hey sleeping late is good for us at our age I think....I'm doing it more often too...but I go to bed real late when I do... It's hard to get in 7 hours sleep for me...much less most of the time.
Sure hope you take pictures of your new curtains when you get them up. We all want to see them.
How little boy doing??? praying he is better.
They said it going to be 12 F tonight, it's been cold all day.
Did all my running today, had Bob go with me to help carry thing. The first of the month I really need his help with the shopping. And he real good with helping putting thing around too.
And it a nice way of spending time with each other too.
    God bless you Lois
    Mary
