~Nice Day~

It is about 60 degrees outside today and we have a nice

breezy sunny day! I feel so good today and to be quite

honest I have NO idea why.. but I like it :-) Maybe its

because things are ok.. I have this great new place, I

have my sewing machine, I have food.. 2 furry kids

right here, spring is springin... soon.. I know this nice

weather is only a tease, but its nice to see the grass

out there although not all the water from the melting

stuff.. The river is only about a block away so I worry

about that, although Joe hasnt said it floods here. I

know there is a dam by the bridge downtown. Its a

new dam bridge :-)

I have not done one thing today but play on this computer.

I got up early and felt really good, happy, and I went to

some music sites and found a few new ones.. Music is so

good for you.. It is me anyway. A good oldies song can

bring some great memories back and put me in the best

mood.. Music is a great healer I think.. I don't like this

rap stuff at all I cant understand a word of it.. plus I

don't like to see it either with the no style of clothes

they wear... and I am not really a fan of country music.
Some I like, like Randy Travis.. but most of that is

about cheating and fighting and divorces.. cry in your

beer type of music.. I like the kind that gets your feet

tappin and makes you happy... :-)

I got a phone call from my sis yesterday to find out how

I liked all the silkie fabric in the big bag she gave me.. I

told her I had already made a skirt and cut out a dress

for my little doll here.. she laughed.. She also told me

that she had to call her doctor. She was coughing bad

when she was here Saturday and come to find out, she

has pneumonia.. she gets that stuff really easy.. She

bundles up good but can get a respiratory infection,

or this stuff at the drop of a hat...She got some good

anti biotics so I'm sure they will work.. I hope so...I

will call later in the week end to check and see how

she is... Shes my only and bestest sissy I gotta look

out for her :-) she does me..

While I was in the hellhome for that year, Shirley

and Stan faithfully came up to see me every week

end.. They saw the good and the bad side of me.. I

know lots of times I don't even remember them

being there. She always brought me something when

she came to visit.. She told me later after I had

escaped from there and was living again.. how many

times she and Stan would leave and on the way home

how she would worry that it was the last time she

would see me alive I was in such bad shape.. And I

was.. but I think I still knew when she was there. I

hope she knows how much I appreciate all she did

for me then and even now.. I wouldn't trade her

for anything... shes a good sister.. Even though we

didn't find each other till we were in our 30's..

it was like we have always been together and are

so much alike.. its amazing...

Well I have some left over meat loaf and I'm gonna

make some smashed potatoes and I might make some

baked corn... I love that stuff... :-) My lazy day is

almost done... its been a good day... This GRATEFUL

GORGEOUS WEEBLE.. says "G'day, G'day" :-) Listen

to some great music.. will make you feel better... :-)
