~1200th Post Today~

Long time since Ive put a photo so I decided to put this one here, just
for today, it will be gone tomorrow.. Thats my new skirt I made .. :-)

The past 2 days our weather has been almost springlike.

Yesterday it was over 60, sunny and just beautiful.. The

boys had the best time laying in the sun.. Of course being

so warm meant our snow was melting and there is a small

lake outside the front door.. My poor sis and Stanley had

to wade thru the water... Was a lot, and I'm glad it didn't

get inside here!. I know we will get more, its only February,

it could snow on Easter ....it has before.. Nothing the weather

does anymore surprises me.. I'm ready for it to clear so I

can go outside.. and I can do that all by myself now, wont

that be great this summer? I cant wait to sit outside...Y'all

are welcome to come sit with me :-) oh , 1200 posts on this
blog as of today... lots of writing but I sure enjoy it :-)

My sis brought a ton of material, a pair of scissors, thread,

patterns.. and I am most pleased.. :-) will keep me busy for a

long time.. I'm glad though I enjoy DOING something, not just

sitting around watching the world go by.. She brought some

patterns for me and some of the cutest flannel fabric and I

know a few grands that are gonna get new jammies :-) She

brought me a lot of silk..which I LOVE !.. some beautiful

pieces that I cant wait to make into skirts.. One is orange

and brown paisley It was a toss up between the blue and

that piece and I already had blue thread in my machine,

so I made the blue skirt.. Its not hard to change thread

and bobbin but since I liked the blue I made that one..

Only 3 seams in a skirt, so they don't take very long to

make...

Past few days my hip, the right one, is just giving me fits.

I have NO idea whats wrong with it.. Its kind of hard to

tell exactly where it hurts as it feels like the bone is

sore.. To touch it REALLY hurts.. I know I havent fallen

or bumped it at all.. I only sit in 3 places, in this chair,

on my bed, or on the potty and there is nothing that

would make this stump hurt.. Could be arthritis .. I know

that's settled in.. They didn't say that, but when you

break a bone, that's one of the outcomes, you get

arthritis in it later on... so cutting that leg bone to

amputate it, I would guess I would get arthritis in the

remaining bone... Sounds logical to me :-) What ever

it is, I wish it would quit ...

Well I have 2 pairs of slipper socks to make for Penny.

She got some polar fleece Friday and I promised I

would make them for her.. She can crochet like a genius,

but she cant sew a stitch .. she doesn't know how to sew

at all.. so I will teach her, but until she learns I will

make her slippersocks.. Tomorrow she will mail the socks

to you Mary.. I hope you enjoy them...

So until tomorrow this GORGEOUS SEWING WEEBLE
