~Jobs Done~ :-)

Well the door is finished. Carl showed up this morning

paint and brush in hand and finished up the door. He

still needs to put in that piece of carpet but I assured

him wasn't a biggie and when he had time to just call

and come over. He did a great job and it sure looks nice.

He cautioned me about the wet paint and I told him a

few of my painting stories.. like the blue paint. I had that

stuff everywhere but where it was sposta go.. He laughed,

said sometimes he has days like that too.. He left to go

to another place that needs some work but with a promise

he would be back to finish the floor.. Hes very nice and

does a great job.. Not to mention the fact ... Carl is a very

good looking man ! :-) which is always nice to see.. just makes

my day, what better to see? well for a woman that is, than

a good looking man :-)

We are under the gun for more snow for the next 3 days. I

knew we wasn't done with the white stuff.. Carl said his

grand is driving up from Indiana and he hopes she makes it

before it starts which it is due to start late today or tonite.

Carl agrees with me about the best way to tell the weather

in the state of Michigan is to look out the window.. :-) All

Michiganders know that :-)

The boy got a new truck. Well new to him. He got paid for

his wrecked one and I have to say hes a smart kid. He could

have bought another new truck.. but he has a friend that

had a truck for sale.. for only 800. its a 99.. but a runner

and has a new motor.. So Donnie bought it.. Hes a great

mechanic so any problems he can easily fix. He says it runs

great though but the body is a bit rusty in spots.. as long

as its dependable and will haul his 32 foot trailer, it will

work.. So Donnie saved over 8000 which he is glad since

they still arent sure of his job. The President was there

and even mentioned his Donnies company it employs

so many people.. They still arent sure the outcome.. But I

am glad that my boy is being cautious and very sensible..

have to be with the way things are now.. I just hope it

gets better.. Here its really bad.. Michigan has the car

places that are laying off left and right.. and houses for

sale everywhere..

Well lunch time is here and I have left overs from yesterday

I am not going to wait and see what COA brings, if by chance

it HAPPENS to be something eatable I will save it for supper

or for tomorrow. The lunches lately.. well.. lets not go there...

they just havent been looking that great.. and most of it I

have NO idea what it is.. The other day was a pork chop, and

I had to ask Chris "just WHAT IS THIS?" It did NOT look

like a chop.. trust me and I wasn't eating it... so leftovers

for me.. then to do some more sewing... I have a neckline on

these jammies for Alex that is giving me fits.. I cant figure

it out.. so a call to my sis will help :-) plus I want to see how

she is feeling.. I hope better.. Pneumonia is nothing to sneeze

at.. with- yes.. :-) So...."G'day, G'day" from this GORGEOUS
WEEBLE.. :-)
