~Quiet Day Kinda...~

Very quiet day today. I had a wonderful surprise last
evening when Donnie phoned and then came over. We
had a very nice visit. He was off all day yesterday as
he already had 53 hours in for this week.. so he spent
the day with his dog and cleaned his house. His 2
brothers are coming to spend the week end with him.
Hes glad.. Donnie is the best looking of the three :-)
David and John are very nice tho ... :-)

I have been sneezing since yesterday and have kept
a headache.. I have a feeling this will be a short post
today. Not feeling the greatest and getting into con
flict with people makes a bad halfday. I wont give any
details other than to say I hate to end a friendship
but sometimes I have no choice, to save my self from
hurt.. I had to do that today and it really does upset
me.. but I had no choice. But anyhoway... life goes on..

I did have a most WONDERFUL morning though.. I got
to talk and SEE my son Mark!! Hes such a handsome kid.
Looks just like his mother.. We are so much alike its
scarey :-).. I saw my grandson Tyler, he was all into his
computer playing games.. Hes such a Cutie.. Talking and
seeing Mark took the bad out of today and I am so glad.
Webcams are the most wonderful things. I have a few
other friends that I video chat with on Skype and its
just so amazing what is possible nowdays.. Computers
are great.. sometimes :-) IF you don't have Vista :-)

I think a bowl of soup will make me feel better so I am
off to the kitchen and then taking a 5... hopefully when
I do I will feel better...SatDay is just sposed to be that
a SAT day.. mine is every day !! :-) Time to post this,
and put my GORGEOUS WEEBLE "G'day, G'day"... :-)

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? love ya and THANKS!
Always, Lois ****

"God Bless You", is my prayer today,
I'm honored to call you "friend".
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until I write again...

Always nice to get a surprise Lois.
Did the same old thing again this week, took Michael out to eat then skating for 2 hours, while he skating I'm walking with Patsy and also Sharon this week..then I pick up Michael and his friend and take them home. Hoping in time the other mother will help...right now she is real busy working on the house next to them they brought...
Just so happy Michael has a friend to skate with.
God bless you Lois and keep you safe my friend.
    Mary

I always have a quart or two of homemade soup around. Tonight we had a brooklyn foodies convention. I brought a Tuscan salad. The hostess lives in a 19th century mansion with some of the original plumbing fixtures. She was mayor Koch's cook and edits and writes cookbooks.
