~Busy, Busy Day~ :-)
Busy day in the neighborhood. People EVERYWHERE!
Lots of Amish with their horses and carts.. Some, as
you see came with in range of my camera.. I know some
don't like photos taken but, theyre in MY yard.. so.. I
take their photos... :-) This whole town is one huge
yard sale. Up town are craft tables and a lot going on
down there too.. This is such fun ! I'm having a good
time watching this.. I turn the speed up on my chair
and race from window to window to doorway to take
notice that the 2 black labs, Jesse and his brother
are there. I hadnt seen the older dog all week and I
honestly was worried about that dog.. hoping he wasn't
sick or worse, died.. Jesse loves playing out there with
him, and to see Jesse by himself, I worried something
them last night as they trudged back and forth carrying
everything.. Bad news is its sposta rain tonite later.. so I
hope they all have tarps.. I see where Steve and Lisa just
put sheets, that wont keep out the wet.. They have done
pretty good, sold lots of stuff, I can tell by the bare
tables.. People were out there before they opened their
sales up here today and tomorrow so I'm hoping she
might take a ride up here, just to get away for a while
if nothing else.. She gave me an update on Steamer.. He
has massive infection, in his lungs, blood, and has been
put on life support as of yesterday and is being kept
asleep to see if they can fight this.. He is holding his
own.. My poor sis is so worried, as she knows there is
NOT one thing she can do but wait and pray. Please
keep him in your prayers...
Well its that time again.. LUNCH!!!... I am kinda hungry
but not REAL hungry.. I had Penny make some spaghetti
sauce for the week end, I forgot to have her get some
meatballs though :-) oh well..A meatball sandwich sounds
good, with shredded mozarella cheese.. :-) Hope you
have a good week end! This GORGEOUS WEEBLE will
be back !! :-)
Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? luv ya and thanks !
Always, Lois ****
"God Bless You" is my prayer today,
I'm honored to call you friend.
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,

What a wonderful blog! I just discovered you. Looks like I have a lot of reading to do here to catch up.
I too recently restarted my life after giving up alcohol. While the situation is clearly different, learning a new way to live I think has applications everywhere. Thank you for writing.

Hey ... what a wild and wonderful party going on around you. You should try to get out and motor down the block ... I wonder what the Amish attitude would be toward motorized chairs with their rules against cars and tractors and trucks and that?
Have a happy ... d

Regarding motorized chairs: Orthodox Jews have rules governing the sabbeth. In issues involving health or life and death Life always rules.
Garage sales: I bought a $75.00 Italian coffee maker for $5.00 10 years ago. I have spent $4.00 to repair it over the 10 years.
