~A First~

Well.. This photo..is of me, of course, but this is the first one
I have ever taken of me in my Power Chair. I don't have any
others in it... It was mentioned to me the other day about a
photo in this chair..Its really hard to tell its a power chair I guess
but not seeing the big wheel on the side..and the joystick by my
right hand...is the only way you can tell. But this is my Heavy
Duty Baby lol...shes a runner too let me tell you..:-)

The difference.. I mean when I transferred into this chair,, it was
HARD to get used to.. I guess like driving a stick shift and going
to a automatic transmission on a car.. I reached for my big wheel
so many times going to move its funny~!~ lol..I was really getting
aggravated at myself you know? I had forgotten how to drive this
chair!!!! DUH...I do like it tho...I would just forget i drive this one
differently....lol...plus it can REALLY go fast :-)

I'm crusin around here trying to get used to this thing.. and running
into everything.. I forget I cant stop on a dime..or that I cant move
just by pushing away from something.. and too..when I sit..I dont
leave the engine running so to speak lol..well you know what I
mean I shut the power off, why waste the charge? so when I go to
push that joystick I have to remember to turn this puppy back on
FIRST!!!! lol.. This is really fun.. I feel totally stupid here...Forget
how to run a power chair..like going from a suped up sports car
to a jalopy..lol...NOW ,,,, here's the KILLER... I PREFER the
JALOPY !!! lol..now what is THAT??? what is WRONG with me??

But it is true.. for me anyway... I dont feel I have the control of this
chair like I do my manual..I feel more like Im under ITS control..Its
nice to carry stuff yessss by all means.. lots easier..but..its the
little things..Its not near as comfy a chair as my manual either..
well i dont use a cushion in this either and the seat in this isnt
padded like it is in my manual, its not padded alot only with
an inch of foam..but that does make a difference..plus the seat
in this power chair has places where there is velcro..and slide
across that.. ya..its a tad scratchy-- and trust me- does NOT
feel good...its from where the cushion goes to hold it in place.
The cushion for this power chair .. it did come with one.. but
its about 3 inches or so thick.. which makes me feel too high
and I dont like that feeling like I could fall out.. I could get a
thinner cushion.. but I just really prefer my manual..even tho
I do like the convenience of this one.. the more I used this
before, the more I got used to it too...its not a bad chair..they
are good...i just need the arm strength for as long as I can..

So anyway.. I hope you are pleased with my offering of a very
FIRST..this is the first place that photo has been seen by
anyone.. and I am only just now posting it..its what .oh..lol
6:00 pm my time..so..anyway..this is just another one of the
GORGEOUS WEEBLE lol...enjoy..:-) and yup..YOU KNOW
where I am headed.. I have NOT eaten all day.. oh i guess
I could give you some specifics..I have on a hot pink SILK
skirt..and a white chiffon blouse with tiny pink flowers..pleats
down the front..its a lovely set.. I decided not to wear black
or red..or blue.. so see? this I think is the first time this outfit
has been in a photo as well....:-) aint I just GORGEOUS???
hehehe..i know tell me .."GO EAT LOIS" lol..ok ok I'm goin~!

Y'all have a good one now Y'hear? LUV YA !!!! THANKS..
Always, Lois ****

May God Bless you today,
I'm so honored to call you friend,
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until I write again...

I love that you wear silk! Vey sexy indeed! You look beautiful in that skirt. I always love your descriptions of yout outfits.

I hope that the annoyances with the chair recede and you get used to each other soon.

Thank you Robert :-) so nice to read.

Silk is my favorite material. If I spent more time in it I would get used to it I think..It just makes me weak..and I need all the help I can get to lift this body of mine lol...

    Dear Lois,
Love the pic, Love the outfit you are wearing, Love the chair, but most of all, LOVE the WEEBLE sitting in it!!! lolol ;-) It's that lovely, warm smile that does it!! I am not at all influenced by the sly peek of two lovely stumps. (Hey, my nose just grew six inches!!)
I don't think you waste power when the chair is standing still. the warning light uses very little current. I'll bet it's an L.E.D. and they use next to nothing.
Yes, I prefer a stick shift to an auto (we have one of each) I know better than the auto when to shift!!
Thanks for the pic. Take care, my dear. Lots of love and hugs from
    Raife

Careful Raife..your nose will be draggin the floor!!! :-)

I wasnt sure if it drained it or not but I shut it off just in case..Its a great chair im just NOT used to it. It has a bar thingie next to the joystick shows when the power is going out. a full charge lasts a long time...

Im so glad you liked the picture :-)
Hope your having a good day.
    Always, Lois****
