~Allergic Company~

Nice sunny and pretty warm day. We are all squeaky clean and

we did very good over the week end to not have a huge mess by

the time Penny got here today. She did NOT complain.. So funny

as soon as she gets thru the door both cats run up to her..Dutch

will try to climb her leg and LittleBoy will fall over on his back for

her to rub his belly..She gives them a lot of attention but then of

course she really doesn't have too much of a choice since they

will pester her until she does spend time with them.. She cleaned

really good today and ran the vacuum sweeper and got all the

cat hair off the couch.. My company tomorrow is a tad allergic

to cats so I hope this good vacuuming will help. She went to

the grocery store and picked up a few things too, always nice
to feed company :-)

I went thru the grocery ads for Meijers online to see what the

specials are this week and I get so frustrated wishing I had

a freezer, they have so much on sale this week where its buy

one get one free which is almost the same as doubling your

money.. I had thought of maybe getting a regular refrigerator

with a freezer and get rid of my mothers dining room table. If

I get rid of it I can put one where it is..which was right behind

me in that photo I posted here last nite..I hate to move that

table down to the basement as I know it will just get ruined

down there. This basement is not the best nor is it a dry one.
When I moved in last year there was water down there and

the damp musty smell was very powerful down there too, I hate

to get rid of it.. but then again.. If and when I move away from

here there is no guarantee that it will fit at the next place..so

I guess I may just as well get rid of it now. Its hard to know

what to do..With things getting so bad here I may have to

move a lot sooner than the 3 years when this grant is done.
They have cut so many of our benefits..I have already had

2 things cut...and the next they are threatening is to cut

the number of hours I have for a caregiver, I only get 40 hrs

a month now..and they are saying they will be cut too. I

think if I was smart I should start to seriously think about

some place else.. I have been asking a lot of questions..

but not gotten any really good answers, so its still hard to

know which is the right thing to do..


I know I have to look out for myself..that If I don't do it now

while I can I could get in trouble farther down the line in

case the time ever comes that I cant say what is to happen

to me, I very seriously doubt that I will get married again as

I don't know but 1 or 2 single men..and they are confirmed

bachelors, so I doubt if my prince will come galloping to my

rescue either.. I think his horse got lost.. :-) so I think I am

doing the right thing as far as planning ahead... I hope I

can find something that is just more suited to me..I love the

privacy of this house.. but as hard as this place is to do

anything.. I think I need a place more suited.. To think of the

yard work of this summer.. I will more than likely have to pay

to have that done.. I cant expect donnie to come over and

do this every other week or so..that's not fair..he has his own

place.. I could try to get a riding lawn mower then maybe I

could cut the grass myself :-) But being alone There is a lot to

consider in the upkeep of a house..Maybe I can find a bigger

house then advertise for a roommate to help share in the

work and stuff that may work out ok.. I know I have to think of

some solution..

I know what time that mail man comes just about every day

yet every time I hear that mailbox lid clank shut I jump and

so do the boys.. I wonder why that is.. lol.. I know its coming..

yet it scares me. Scares me specially when I go out there

and dig bills out of the bloomin thing too ~!~ :-)

I still have a ton of stuff to do before tomorrow and that is why

the earlier post today, plus the fact ..yesssss.. Im hungry :-)

you KNEW I was gonna say that.. now what's next??? you
