~We Got More Snow~ :-(
| We woke today to cold and MORE snow. I saw on the TV where the ski resorts around the state are very happy. I know Donnie is, means he can ride his snow mobile, well if it doesn't melt by Sunday nite. I think they will be back then.. Its really windy out and snows off and on..Dutch goes crazy trying to catch the snow flakes. I can only imagine what he thinks they could possibly be.. I know when someone comes in with snow on their feet, both the boys cant seem to understand what that stuff is.. LB is really bad for shoes. Penny's 13 yr old grandson came to help carry the mattress down the basement and he took his boots off ..well LB about went nuts rubbing and pushing up against those boots..Either they smelled bad and he wanted his scent on them or he was in love :-) I feel a bit better today and I am really glad, I think its this flu that is just lingering or something that's making me this tired..Taking my thryroid and the doseage increased..I should have some energy. I think could be the combination of both.. Ive talked to quite a few though that said it took them 3 to 4 weeks before they felt really good again..at the rate Im going I sure believe it.. Its nice to lay around when YOU want to..when you HAVE to then its not really a fun thing..Kinda aggravating to me. But then I have no choice or its melt right out of my chair..and if im gonna melt I want it to be on the bed..NOT the floor... I havent made anything to eat yet and would you believe Im just too lazy to go out and fix it..cuz then I will make a mess that I will have to clean up, then I will have to put everything away, and by then I will be so exhausted, and I think of it as hard work. When you don't feel real good I think we all take into consideration every move..is it something I really need to do.. I know when I had a fever and had to get up and go to the bathroom, I almost dragged every bit of bedding off that bed cuz I knew I was gonna freeze if I didn't.. Fevers are so hard on you.. Ive had my share of some really high ones..specially just before they amputated my right leg and I had gangrene so bad in my foot.. I saw all kinds of weird stuff when they gave me something for the pain that really worked and I could forget the agony I was in, then I played with the dust bunnies and yellow ants.. :-) I knew when I got up this morning it was cool..and both my stumps were throbbing..that's what really woke me up.that the weather was changing and when I saw all that snow out there..I knew why.. They do seem to even swell a little when they really get to aching.. I think too not feeling well and being in bed as much as I have been lately and NOT doing my stumpercizes.. I Havent much since I havent felt good..They do help me though when I do them at least before bed and when I get up..theyre easy to do..and doesn't take long..I move a lot while im sitting in my chair though that's why I Had it made bigger so I could. All day long today though they have ached..more the right one..it still is a sleeper..almost constantly it feels like its sleeping... I am so anxious to start feeling better so I can go outside and help Penny in the yard.. she said she wouldn't mind helping me at all...I would like a tomato plant.. I especially want the green tomatoes lol.. I love those things.. fried? oh yes..very very good.. I eat them while I am frying them and by the time Im done Ive eaten them all :-) I have NO will power when it comes to them..they are so good. There was a good movie called that too.. I like most vegetables..not carrots..or celery I just don't like them.. I like the flavor they put into a stew or roast, but I don't eat them..no. but other veggies I do like most of them ..well..not okra..that is just too slimey and I don't like it at all.. there are a couple or two that I don't like. but those that I do..I really enjoy them.. I had fun with the flower garden and the vegetable garden we shared with David's sister..she had a real green thumb..and a beautiful garden.. she was always out working in it.. we ALL enjoyed the veggies.. I have now made myself hungry and guess I need to find something I have to eat .. I have some good Mrs. Grass's Soup with extra noodles..now that is good stuff with those Keebler Club Crackers? yes..very very good ...Im headed to the kitchen then to bed.. "Nitey Nite" Y'all have a good one now Y'hear? love ya, and Thanks! ALways, Lois **** God Bless you is my prayer today, I'm so honored to call you "friend"; I pray the Lord will keep you safe until I write again.. | |||

Hello Lois
Glad you got that snow and not here where I live... I have been cleaning the church up, it was a work day...Bob and I was the only one that showed up...we got a lot done...going back to finshs up after I rest a bit and eat.
We left Michael home to watch T.V. with his broken right arm, it hard for him to do anything anyways...
You have a wonderful Easter, there is a lot of good preacher on the T.V.anyways....
If you have Paltalk.com there is wonderful Christian groups there too...My computer is to old and I can not get Paltalk now.
I am praying God will bless me with a new computer.
God bless you Lois.

Dearest dear one!
I come to think about words when i read your post. How wonderful it is that we have words to express ourselves, like......
BUTTERFLY: A lovely little word, and a little animal that is a message of summerdays and fresh springflowers...
STUMPS: A short word for something short, but still lifelong...
LOIS: not a word but a name, that sends shivers off wellbeings down my spine...
STUMPERCIZES: This word is a word you dont find in any ordinary dictionary, but still a very common word (nowadays) in my mind. It describes something that i would be most obliged to look at, it must be lovely to see you stretching out in all your wonderful shortness and wobbling those limbs. And the word is sooo right for the purpose...
BUTTERFLYLOIS: A word that is a combination of two wonderful words, to describe and name the most gorgeous, wonderful, sweet, clever, humourus, and lovely female in the world. My own little Lois that i am so glad and honored to call my friend!!!!
KAO´s my dear

My sister had snow in Washington, DC. If you had the flu - you should consider getting the flu shot next year. Each year requires a new shot. I always get them - they are free and when I go to my dr's office he always does an ekg, echo-cardiogram etc. In general, I am in good health, cough! cough!
