~Got It AGAIN~!~

Guess what we woke to again? I had heard on the TV last

nite that we were sposta get more snow but I didn't hear

how much..Its been snowing all day I took that photo at

8:30 this morning and it was really bad out and its not let

up at all.. Penny said the roads werent too bad on her way

here but I bet by the time she went home at noon they were

getting there. If the temperature drops it will be really cold,

and that will make the wet roads super bad. You can see

how slushy it was this am.
You can see the parking lot of that garage across the

street, they must be very good as that parking lot stays

full..I know that's not the employees cars they park on

the other side of the building. All those cars are their

customers..They work on all kinds of cars.. Im glad they

arent as noisey as the guy that lives in that orange house

up in that top photo..I wish he would hurry up and get that

cutlass fixed or what ever hes gonna do with it.. Its so

loud when he starts it up it makes me jump, and the boys

run..they have NO idea what that loud rumbling noise is.

I took a picture of this blue gel. Its the best I could do.
But you can see its called SECURA, by Smith &

Nephew..And it is just that ... protective ointment. I am

still amazed at how it has made that ugly scar on my

left stump look so much better! it really does.. I had put

it on to just sort of moisten it as it was very dry, then would

crack and that kept it constantly agitated, The nurse gave

me some ointment, clear stuff, to put on it..but it did not do

one thing..and this blue gel..I could tell a difference over

night.. What I like is that if I have a really sore spot that is

giving me all kinds of grief this will take the pain away in

just a few seconds..Its great stuff. I am so glad they still

had it over there..It was so funny to hear Heather's voice

again..she and I got along pretty good, and I asked her

did she remember me..her "Oh YEAHHHH" reply let me

know she really did.. :-) Friday I will have Penny go and get

a couple tubes so I can send it to Mary and another friend

I know will really benefit from it.. Its not expensive at all..In

fact I bet postage will be more than the cream. but that's

the way it usually is..


Ive been seriously thinking of moving and am starting to look

and take my time.. I have been listening to our governor, and

there will be a lot of my benefits cut and I don't have that many

now. I heard that my hours I am allowed for home care will be

cut, and that some of my other benefits will be as well.. I don't

have but 10 hrs a week now and that is really not enough. I

know there are some other states that are not in the financial

stress this one is in..I am going to start looking, I knew when
I moved in that I only had 3 years here,so I may as well start

to look and hope I can find a better place with a higher

quality of life, and maybe a house that is better suited for me.
One that I can get around in..and maybe if my hearts desire

comes true it will be on a river, or lake. I have been considering

Illinois. I Have heard many good things about it and that the

benefits there are very very good. Moving again would be a

buggar but then I have to do what I have to. If I have that big

yard sale this summer then maybe I can save the money

from it to save and use towards a move to a new and better

place...

Well its almost supper time, and its still nasty as can be out,

I hope the kids were careful on their drives home from work.
Kelli started her 2nd job, I worry about her, she is just like

her dad though.. energy to burn.. I think I will make my self

a nice roast beef and Swiss sandwich, grilled of course. I

love those things.. I may put some sauteed onions on it

as well.. I don't like raw onion..but I love it cooked.. My

sammich doth call..and I'm starved.."Nitey Nite" :-)
