~The 13th~

Today is Friday the 13th.. and superstition has it that bad

luck is always on this day.. I have to disagree as I really don't

believe in superstitions.. Although when I was in Hawaii..I

was not aware of the many superstitions they have there

about every little thing..and surprisingly some that I went

and checked out with some of the locals were true!!! THAT

really surprised me.. As beautiful as Hawaii is.. they have

many things that they believe in..and that they have more

or less haunted places there. I still loved being there..maybe

one of these days I can go back.. It was just so beautiful

that even the photos don't do it justice..

I was listening to music earlier..and next month will be my

Dolly's birthday, Kelli, she will be 23. She is so lovely. When

she was little, 3 or so.. she and I would go shopping and

as soon as we got settled in the car, she and I would sing.
Hers and my favorite, that was ALWAYS the first song we

would sing was "You Are My Sunshine" and every time we

would say those words while we were singing we would

point at each other ... It was fun..and finding that Midi site

with such good songs on it and that one especially I just

couldn't help thinking of those rides Kelli and I took just

singing away, I bet if anyone saw us would have thought

we were nuts.. We had big fun together.

There was yellow tag left on the door yesterday and I

couldn't get out there to see what it was about.. Today

when that nice girl that brings my lunch came she had

it in her hand and gave it to me.. I was so glad she did.

The tag was from a tree service that is planning to cut

the trees that are in this yard away from the power lines.
Its not necessary that you allow them to do this but it

saves money rather than call a tree service to do the

work and if it gets windy and those branches can hit a

power line..and pull it away from your house..I could

have what they call a power surge and lose everything

I have that is electric and plugged in.. It says on the

tag that they will leave the wood which will be ok as

Donnie will be glad to have it.

Donnie has a fireplace that he burns wood but he also

has a furnace.. He found a new device that he can burn

wood and it will go thru his vents etc that he already

has in the house.. that will be a good thing and be so

much cheaper than gas or what ever.. I just got my gas

bill and its 79.34 .. for a month.. I am just amazed at

how expensive it is to live in a house, I sure like the

privacy part of a house,, I can have my TV or puter as

loud as I want and not worry , I don't have to listen to

anything from outside other than the cars and trucks

going down the road..or that guy next door reving up

that cutlass he still has across the street.. It sure is

loud, I cant help but hear it when he starts it. It is a

great car though the body on it is perfect, I don't see

one bad spot on it. Hes been working hard on this

car.. I hope he sells it.. :-)

Well Im back to the same subject.. I had lunch brought

here today and when I looked at it.. I honestly had NO

idea what it was.. It looked like chicken cut up and in

a pale looking gravy..was just ugly.. I showed it to

Dutch of course he has to check out everything and he

did his famous jump straight up in the air..and hit the

floor running ... he came back and sniffed it again

and tried to bury it.. I was NOT eating it.. I think I will

make a good baked potato .. I like those and I do

have some Lemon pie out there..Its really good. I

think Penny may come by tomorrow, she called in

today with a bad toothache that she knows she will

have to have something done..There is almost no

pain worse than a bad toothache..that is ONE pain

I will NEVER have to have ever again.. I think the

best thing I ever did was get dentures.. So much

cheaper in upkeep and never have to go back to a

dentist ever again.. I got my dentures when I was 38

years old..the full set.. I had the top ones since I was

25... then I had the bottoms taken out and had the

full set.. By the time I got to the hellhome it was time

for a new set..and that dentist that came there made

these ..well only the top ones now..dentures for me..

He was even surprised at how well the fit..and I was

so pleased they looked so nice.. no one knew that

they were dentures.. When we packed up the apartment

we never found my bottom dentures.. I still to this day

have NO idea what happened to my bottom ones.. I

AM going to get new bottom ones..I cant wait to eat

popcorn and pizza and all that hard chewy stuff...


Im headed to the kitchen and then to watch TV and that

means its time to write my famous GORGEOUS
WEEBLE words .."nitey nite"....
