~Was OK Bed~

Well, I woke up and I think that is the very FIRSt thing I should be

glad about.. I would be just mad as hell if I didn't wake up !! :-)

I only got up once last nite..and I left my cushion in my chair, which

was so nice to do, I hated when I would get all the way back up to

my bed and realize I had not taken the cushion off my chair..was

so aggravating, then have to worry about getting back in with it

in or carrying it all the way into the bathroom, where it was easy

to get on or off of it.. When I did wake fully, I laid there for a while,

and realized I had a really sore spot on my tailbone..and it really

hurt.. I also could feel my stumps..like they were swollen and very

tight. When I got out here to my computer.. I lifted the blind and

noticed it had snowed last nite and everything was covered.. I

knew then why my stumps felt like they did.. I did notice though

that my nose was runny and that I was sneezin..and I had better

go and get some of my blue gelly stuff for that sore spot on my

tail bone..

This blue gel smells like cloves and its such a nice aroma.. Its

a clean sort of smell.. As sore as that spot was on my tail bone

this gel stops that pain just that fast.. Its a gel..so I have to be

careful I don't get it on my skirt as it will leave a greasy looking

spot .. that's not good.. Sometimes I use a piece of gauze or

something to put over it so that I don't ruin my skirts..But for

some one that sits a lot this is some great stuff.. I sure am

glad that the hellhome agreed to sell a tube of it.. I sure would

be lost with out it..

The scar on my left stump has been giving me fits since before

I went into the shelter back in September.. and would you believe

that only just NOW it is all healed and looks pretty good? I stopped

using that crap they gave me before and just washed it and started

putting this blue gel on it..and in just a few days it is looking 100%

better than what it did. I am really glad..It looked so dry and just

not good..but it does now..and I sure am glad..

Ive been debating about what to do about my bedroom..and I

really don't know what to do..I just don't have room for anything.
with the bed like it is now I cant get to the foot of it and I cant

get into my closet at all..and that is not good.. Half of my clothes

are in my bedroom closet and the other half are in the bathroom

closet.. I hate that but I have no choice.. The rod in the bedroom

closet I cant even reach.. its just too high I have to pull my clothes

off the hanger and hope it doesn't break from me pulling on it..
Ive been keeping my summer clothes in there and the winter in

the bathroom..I don't even have a clothes rod in there all the

hangers are hanging off the shelf! that is on Donnies to do list.

Speaking of Donnie..he did go back to work and is on light duty

though..he said he took a tree down in his yard Saturday though

and that he and dawn put the pontoon in the water too.. He just

cannot stay quiet or not do anything he just has to keep going

and going.. his burn is doing ok he says..just healing a bit slow.

and if you know Donnie..he hates SLOW anything.. :-)

Had some meatloaf for lunch..this new cook is just not that great.

There is no seasonings in it at all.. I know many cant have salt,

but it still needs a little bit just to bring out the flavor.. Its not

like the old stuff.. The one good thing about meatloaf day is that

desert is always strawberry shortcake..and boy I love that stuff.
I had Penny pick up a pumpkin pie for me on Monday though..

don't ask how long that pie lasted either cuz I aint tellin.. :-)

well I will say.."Not VERY long" :-D sure was good.. Its snowed

off and on all day but not much has accumulated out there and

Im glad Kelli said it was bad going to work this morning and

it being Thursday , many are off tomorrow and will be starting

their Easter journeys to go and visit Im sure..I know the roads

will be busy..many will start out tonite and not wait till tomorrow.

They all leave early to avoid the rush then the ones that do

leave tomorrow don't have any traffic at all! .. I have no plans

I think donnie and them are going to WIsconsin to Donnies

parents..they are some nice people..


Its that time for me to take a rest.. I had a busy day today of

not doing nothin and that just wears me out.. Im so glad you

enjoyed the video clip..I thought was so funny and had to

laugh at myself.. was just plain GORGEOUS me. hope
