~I Got A New Bed Today~

My phone rang about 9 or so this morning..and it was Metron, home medical supply, they said "we are delivering a bed to you today about noon". I almost fell out of my chair! can you believe this fast I got this bed? I only just mentioned it to my Dr 2 weeks ago I think or there abouts..and I HAVE it, its sitting there in my bedroom now.. I am so shocked...Its a nice bed.. very LONG one..and it is electric as far as the head board and foot board will go up and down..the bed it self will not electrically, but it does with a HAND crank at the FOOT of the bed. It has side rails..on both sides at the head of the bed.. I was NOT prepared to get this bed... Well I called Metron..I asked if the delivery man is going to move my other bed since I was not pre-warned about this delivery so I could have made arrangements to have my old bed out of there. I didn't even get my phone hung up and there was a knock on my door and was the man with the bed...I told him I was not prepared for this bed to be delivered and that my old one was still there. he said he didn't have time to move my bed.. so penny is dragging this mattress out of there and this man finally sees that he is still going to have to deliver that bed here and is just going to have to wait till we could get that old bed moved.. Well he did grab the box springs then and drag it into the bathroom and just left it there.. Good thing I didn't have to go potty!!! He then starts to put the bed together and asks if I have one of those 3 way adaptors..that he will need one to plug the bed in.. I told him..then the bed should have come with one..I didn't have one here, and even if I did..he should have had one, just in case..and It was NOT my job to supply him with the things he needs.. he found one, out in his truck.. I am glad to have this bed.. but..well I cant get into my closet now..at all..the door wont even open..and..with the bed all the way down..far as it will go..it is now HIGHER than my chair.. AND..the mattress? is plastic..which is ok if I wet the bed..but do you know how hot that will be in the summer? I wanted the bed because I thought it would have a much better mattress on it..which I guess it does..Ive not gotten on it yet.. Penny did put the bedding on it for me.. but I havent tried to get on it yet.. I am going to have to rearrange my bed room again..I guess I could put the bed where my other one was before..by the heat vent..but with summer coming wont matter..So I may do that.. The bed is on rollers and will be very easy to move and I think I can do that.. My big problem is to move the TV and the cable box..and that big 3 drawer chest of drawers that they sit on.. that's the biggie.. I think I can..with that TV bed table..that may work but on that carpet I am not real sure..I do need to do something though..My bedroom was the next room I was going to try to fix up..well I guess I may as well start now ..I was gonna do my kitchen first..but I have no choice now if I wanna sleep lol..and its a toss up as far as which is more important the kitchen, which is food, or the bedroom..which is sleep..so..I dunno.. both are very important.. well I guess though since my bedroom has some of my clothes I cant get at that makes it a tad more important.. cuz if I got the kitchen done first I may not fit in those clothes I cant get to lol.. I am glad its here though and I will get it all straightened around..Penny took my comforter with her and is going to wash them for me..for on the bed.. when I get that on it will look a lot better too.. This bed wasn't that expensive either which I am amazed..only $224.oo..but now its not got that great mattress like what would cost a bunch either.. I do need to get a mattress pad for it though I think that would help.... I got up early today ..and I have to say I don't feel really too bad..I do get tired easy though.. but I think that's just weakness from feeling bad for so long and not eating right.. And when its a blah day I feel worse too..Today It even snow flurried out there ..Its a very cold windy day.. good day to snuggle down in front of the TV and fall asleep lol.. its these flippin clickers.. they have stuff programmed into them that lets them know when your ready to doze off and they know just what button to push next :-) the "nitey nite " one ...
