~Securing The Porch~

Gorgeous day today, I am going to have Penny check out the

front porch and make sure its secure and then let the boys go

out there. I think they will really love it.. I have a chair in the

basement I can bring up as they will need that to be able to

see out thru the screen part. As nice and warm as its been
I am anxious to open the door and let the fresh air inside

here too.. I just don't trust screens as I know if Dutch got

excited he would climb it with no hesitation..that's why I

had to take them out over at the apartment. He would go

right up to the top..then the whole screen would fall out,

luckily it fell in TO the living room and I managed to chase

him away till I got the window closed..

I had to move the TV and chair and it was not easy.. If the

boy got outside here he would be in serious trouble I

think as busy as that road is out there. I am amazed at the

two dogs next door never venture to the front..They know

to stay in the back yard.. There is no way I could even get

outside to rescue one of my boys if they got out..and I would

surely get all kinds of upset if that happened.. I make double

sure when someone is here after they leave I search and

call them to make sure they havent sneaked out...They try.

I have gotten a bad spot on my back. It is so sore.. I have

faithfully been putting that blue gel on it..and it is slowly

getting better.. I think I may need a new cushion or some

thing.. I have no idea what else it could be from unless my

new bed is too hard, which, when I can sleep I sleep ok..I

really think its the cushion..Ive had this one now for over a

year..and as much as I sit, it is only foam about 2 inches

thick or maybe one half..but after all this time of sitting on

it I noticed that it doesn't go back up after I get off of it , so

I do think its time to get a new one.. I know Stanley can get

pieces of foam and I may call and ask him to get a piece

for me. Im sure he would if he can get it, and I think that will

help me a lot..

I did change the bedding on my bed today and I know when

Penny gets here she will yell and ask why hadnt I waited for

her tomorrow to do it.. Well I had NO choice..unless I wanted

to sleep on the bare mattress.. I made the mistake of taking

a bottle of water in there to drink. While I was taking a drink

Dutch came flying in there, jumped on top of me and ran

to the end of the bed, knocking the bottle out of my hand

and onto the bed. Before I could grab it .. right behind him

was LittleBoy, and by the time he got out of the way there

was a serious WET spot on my bed.. If I didn't take the

bedding off it would have taken forever to dry. Luckily I

had Penny put the linens in the bathroom closet on the

shelf.. I had to use my grabber to get them down as

they were on the top shelf and I just cant reach that one..

I had to pull all the pillows off to the floor then take all the

bedding off which is 2 comforters and of course the

sheets.. I put them on the floor and put the new sheets on.

To put sheets on my bed I have to sit on it..and work from

the one end to the other to pull them down to fit on. I have

to get them most of the way, then climb over them and

then put the other end on.. ITs not easy..by the time I got

done with this and the pillows back on..I was tired.. I was

glad I had that woolbie that is hanging on the door in the

photo or I wouldn't have had anything but sheets tonite..

All the other blankets are in the bedroom closet and I

cant get to it.. I need to really work on my bedroom..I
had considered moving my computer in there and give

me more room in the living room ..but I don't have company

that often to need a lot of room in there..and it would make

my bedroom very crowded.. I would love to have a big open

lots of room house..would be so nice..

Well I am tired and ready to go watch TV for a while and I

am hungry too..but I have NO idea what I feel like eating.

I may just have a bowl of soup.. I love that Mrs. Grass Soup

with the extra noodles of course..and those Keebler Club

Crackers.. good stuff.. Time to close, and roll off into the

sunset.. "Nitey Nite" :-)
