~I Got Mad!~
I watched a news story on TV last nite that made me so mad,
that its all ive thought about today.. I watched a man.. a DAK..
that had special prosthetics.. he was in the OLYMPICS...and they
took away his 5..as in FIVE gold medals he won running.. He had
special legs made..they say gave him an unfair advantage over
the other runners.. and NOW he would have to compete in the
para Olympics.. I got SO MAD.. why did they NOT stop him from
entering the very first time then? they saw he was an amputee..
they let him in.. They Let him win 5 GOLD medals..THEN this man
is NOW not permitted to keep them? I am outraged at this.. I
think this is awful.. they let a woman swimmer compete.. she was
a BK...(below knee) ...
The OLYMPIC people are unfair.. I don't think this is right at all..
Because he has prosthetics.. they say he is better because he doesn't
use as much air when he runs.. so there fore he has an advantage..
Well I say the man perhaps is better prepared for competition then
perhaps.. better able to control him self.. why does it have to be from
the special prosthetics he has? I think it is SO very unfair..that they
have done this to him..they are discriminating against him suddenly..
All these races hes won..the other competitors are complaining
because they are losing and thus blaming it on his special legs.. I
think that is an excuse to get him out of the running so THEY can win
those medals.. To give a person 5 GOLD medals..then to TAKE them
BACK? how cruel.. like he didn't deserve them. he won... he earned
them.. and to say being a dak gives him special advantage I don't
agree at all.. I wish there was something I could do to help this guy..
I sure would this is so unfair to him..Then I hope the woman swimmer
that they have allowed to compete is taken out too..Which she probly
wont because she didn't use a prosthetic..I wonder if she had a special
foot made like a flipper would they disqualify her as well and take her
medals if she won them? unfair.. They should NEVer have let the man
have even run that first race.. I get so upset over injustice done to us
and the lame excuses they give to Justify it.. I hope he gets them good..
I wish I could help him.. Im going to write to the Olypmics committee and
give them my 2 cents too.. I hope every one does. this isnt fair..I HOPE
he has a good lawyer..
I feel better today and havent done anything but just sit and watch it snow..
by late this after noon the sun did come out and tomorrow is sposta be
nice.. I hope so..Chris the lunch girl.. its her birthday and she and a friend
are going shopping in Shipshewanna.. shes 45 she said..and doesn't look
over 30.. I never would have believed shes 45.. sweet kid.. .. I hope she
has a great day tomorrow.. The roads are clear but you can see we got
snow.. I havent been eating too well the past few days and I still don't
have an appetite but I have some of those good crackers..and a cuppa
tea.. and Im headed across this carpet. SLOWLY..and this GORGEOUS
WEEBLE is going to bed.. Thanks for the loving concern.. "Nitey Nite"
Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? love ya, and thanks.. :-)
ALways, Lois ****
God Bless you, is my prayer today,
I'm so honored to call you "friend";

Dearest dear one!
There is only one person worthy of a goldmedal whatsoever (or platinum), and this is you my dear.... The way you live your life, sharing it with us and give us readers something to think about each day... And also giving US, comfort and understanding. Making all of us thankful of what we got... If other people than we regular readers had knowledge of that, you shud get the intrest you deserve, and perhaps some sort of medal....

Hello Lois
I see the snow you got, look like the road are clean.
They should have never taken the goldmedal away from him, that was wrong. Hoping they will see that and give it back to him. Yes he need a good lawyer.
Get well Lois and start feeling better.
God bless you
Mary

Hi, Honey,
We are talking about Oscar Pistorius here, I think. There is a most informative article on him in Wickipedia. In fact, he is a DBK, having had both legs amputated below the knees due to a birth defect. I feel that, because he has shown himself to be a World class athlete, both by attitude and training, that he should be permitted to keep the medals in honour of his very remarkable achievements.
You might as well tell Aimee Mullins that she has an unfair advantage on the catwalk!!!
I guess it's open for any guy to have his leg amputated to gain "an unfair advantage"!!!
Anyhoway, that's my two-pennyworth.
Take care, Honey, don't go using any of your unfair advantages against us poor admirers, now!!!
