~Acomplishments~ :-)

I did accomplish some things today, they werent really hard to
do, I had just been putting off doing them.. I have 2 skirts that
had gotten ripped..and a top that needed repaired.. I sat this
morning and fixed them..I now have my 2 of my favorite skirts
back and usable again after months of just hanging.. One is a
really beautiful red pleated..and it has another design in it that
makes a nice edge around the bottom.. The other I havent had
it on in ages.. Its black with all sorts of colors in it.. Purple, white,
burgundy and a turquoise..and that color I don't have in a top..I
would like to have one though.. I really fixed 2 tops that were
torn and I honestly don't know how they got that way..One is the
purple that matches my purple skirt, the one that was pants before.
the trim at the shoulder had gotten torn and didn't take long to
fix it.. I just never found the time.. The other a beautiful black top
with sequins all around the neck, very dressy... But I feel good
that I finally fixed these things.. specially the skirts..

While Penny went to the store today I peeled and sliced up some
potatoes and onion. When she got back she made them into a
meat pie..adding the ground meat..and of course the pie crust
over the top..Its so easy to make and it is really good.. and its
even better the next day.. So I will have this for 2 days.. which I
don't mind at all... Penny had planned to have to cut up the
onions and potatoes when she got back but I figgured I was the
one going to enjoy eating it I could at least help to fix it.. Every
one we have made have been really good..

I have been trying to think of ways to make this place better
for me to do things..I still havent decided on what to do as far as
looking for another place.. This grant thing still has me worried..
I havent heard from Keystone now since before Christmas when
Chris brought that great blanket to me.. I will just wait and see
when and if they get in touch with me.. Im sure they will its just a
matter of when and if they hired someone to do Heidi's job.. But I
still worry about the grant every day..I hate that..but.. I just couldn't
go thru what I did before when I went to Keystone.. I guard every
penny now and save every dime I can just so I can have a little
back up money..The only thing is..every time I get something put
back, which is never very much, something falls apart or I have to
replace stuff.. or worse yet we have a 5 week month..Those are
just killer.. I have been thinking of ways to improve it here tho..
if that's possible.. with some work it could be...

I had that bad sore throat yesterday and I still do today but not as
bad.. I noticed that all 3 of us are coughing..Dutch never did..LB, he
has since he was little..Im wondering if it could be this house.. I keep
a bowl of water in the kitchen sink for them to drink out of and that
puts some moisture in the air up here..which we are trying to draw it
OUT of the basement.. I got a little jar of jam from Theresa..I had put
some water in it to soak and I for some reason set it on the table..
This was a while back..ever since then ..the boys drink out of that
little jar.. I have to fill it at least twice a day..Why they drink out of it
I have no idea knowing there is one in the sink right next ...Today,
Penny was fixing the meat pie..LB and Dutch were fighting really
bad in here by me.. I stopped, yelled and rolled closer to them to
break it up they were biting and clawing each other both were
seriously mad .. When they saw me coming they both ran of course..
Dutch isnt known for immediate stops when he is in a full run.. He
ran into the kitchen, jumped up on the table next to where Penny was
working and slid on his butt right into that little jar full of water..Well
of course it went EVERYWHERE, I heard Penny say "DUTCH!" I
rolled in there and the boy was running so fast..the top of the table
was slippery anyway..then the water.. well that table is up against
the window..the boy slid right straight across it, went off the edge
and down to the window sill which is about 6 inches lower than the
table.. I could hear Penny laughing..and when I got out there heres
the boy sitting there between the table and window water all over
and looking at me like.."Ma, I didn't do this.".. I had to laugh.. Poor
Penny had to wipe up all the water.. I told Penny that kids at least
can clean up their own messes..these cats are just as bad as kids
but cant CLEAN ! ... It was funny tho.. never dull here...

At least I feel I did something today.. I even sat for a while and worked
on this darn dish cloth..I wonder if I ever will finish it, the rate im going
I will have it ready for next Christmas.. now Im going to have some
of that meat pie and watch TV.. Im tired and need OUT of this chair,
Y'all don't forget the 20th now..that's my birthday and if you need my
address just write and let me know.. ..Is THAT a hint or what? :-)
This GORGEOUS WEEBLE bids you a fond "Nitey Nite" :-)

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? Love ya, and thanks :-)
Always, Lois ****

God Bless you, is my prayer today,
I'm so honored to call you "friend";
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until I write again.....

I bet that sore throat is shouting at the boys. Serves you right for being so mean to the Dear Little Chaps!!!! LOL ;o)
Number one priority is to get that carpet up.
It's no good - I'm going to have to come over there and sort you out properly!!!!! ;o)
