~The Snow Is Gone !~

All our snow is gone. Its warm out, almost 60. but its rainy.

Dawn was supposed to come over yesterday, I phoned her

to see for sure if she was, since it was so bad out with the fog.
She said "Gran, I drove to the end of the street and was going

to pull out onto the highway and I couldn't even see across the

road.. I came back home." I don't blame her I wouldn't want her

on the road in conditions as bad as they were yesterday.. I know

traffic out side was slower, the snow didn't slow it..but boy, that

fog sure did. I couldn't see past the house next door..the big water

tower wasn't even visible..

Penny came today and we put my little tree away, I started to just

keep it up it was so pretty..At nite before I would log off I would turn

it on and just enjoy it.. But Its taken down and carefully wrapped in a

plastic bag, and placed back into its box and ready for next year.. I

still have to remember to take the lights out of the window.. I only

remember when I am looking out of it and see them there that I think

of it..:-) I worried about putting the tree down in my moldy smelly base

ment but I think being wrapped in the plastic bag will protect it..I sure

hope so.. I cant even begin to imagine what happened to the one I
had.. I thought was down the basement..but Penny said it WAs gone..
Where ever it went I still have the base ofr it..and it still works, so whom

ever has it needs to get this base for it.. :-)

I splurged and got breakfast from McD's this morning and I have to say I

was impressed..3 pancakes, scrambled eggs, biscuit, sausage patty and

a potato cake.. that's not bad at all..and it was really good.. and plenty of

it I couldn't eat it all .. I put the sausage biscuit in the fridge for tomorrow

when Penny isnt here.. works for me :-) But all that..and was tasty was a

little over 3 dollars.. I was really surprised..the Big Delux Breakfast its

called.. Its 2 breakfasts for me.. It didn't include coffee which surprised me.

But for fast food..it was good.. The rest of the menu of McD's now..after

breakfast I cant eat..well no.. I can eat it..but I KNOW NOT to..lets put it

that way.. It goes right THROUGH! Its worse than a dose of castor oil..

and I know a lot of people that say that very same thing about that place.

The others Burger King, Wendys, Arby's don't.. I don't know why..

This rain is making me so tired today that all I have said since I got up

is Im tired and ready for a nap..once I ate..well it was even worse! I was

ready to sleep right then.. Coffee doesn't even really phase the tiredness,

but if I drink it at night doesn't bother me like it does some and keeps

them awake.. I think the only thing that keeps me awake would be my

eyes taped OPEN.. That might work :-) I havent really done alot..I tried to

clean up my messy desk and straighten up all my papers so I can work

on my months budget tomorrow when I try to balance that checkbook of

mine..I think it deliberately goes off just to test me to see if I can find my

mistake..I swear sometimes I hear it laffin at me.. I know the ladies at

the bank know when I am working on it..and they even know who I am

as soon as I say Good Morning..No matter who answers when I say hello

they all know its me and I hear "good morning Lois"... I think Im getting

famous.. :-) The ladies at Dairy Queen know me too.. When they see

Penny in line they already have my Icee ready..Friday Penny forgot the

change and pulled away ..a little over 3 dollars..Well today when they

handed her my Icee she said they asked her "Do you want me to take

this out of the change you forgot to take Friday?" now..that's pretty nice,

I think.. In fact I had Penny ask if they had any kind of caramel Sundays

or ice cream bars with carmel..they sent 2 different kinds, free now,

for me to try and see if I liked them...NOW..is that NICE? I even sent a

note back on that one..

I had called them once when I knew Penny was headed there and had

asked them when they see a red headed lady with long hair coming to

buy a green Icee named Penny, that Lois said to get her a caramel

Sunday as well would they give her the message..When Penny got

there the lady said "Lois called and wants you to get her a Carmel

Sunday Penny"... Penny laughed... she told me about it when she got

back here... The ladies down there are very nice.. they have some of

the BEST fries..almost as good as Wendys... Their Icees at DQ?

THE VERY BEST..as long as its the GREEN Lime.. just remember

if you spill it..its VERY sticky .. ask how I KNOW :-).. I still find sticky

spots on my chair :-)

I know what I am really famous for and that's my GORGEOUS WEEBLE

words..that I just have NO choice but to write and you KNOW what they

are..but its that time..bed, snack, and tv..but mostly "Nitey Nite" :-)
