~Surprise Visit~ :-)

I had some unexpected company today that was the last

person I expected to see..Was Raelynn.. she looked great.

It was so nice to see and talk to her again..The boys were

most pleased to see her and let her know it too..They did

remember her.. We talked and I was shocked to hear she

had a stroke in January and wasn't doing very good for a

while, but shes getting better.. She looked good..She is

living with her son Wayne in a little town not far from here.

I hope she comes by again soon..She was a very good

friend to me.. and I do hope shes doing ok.. Of course I

had to show her the photos of my great grand..She thought

he was cute too.. I Hope she stops by again soon, was a
nice surprise :-)

I was reaching to put a glass up in the cupboard above the

sink today and I had to use my grabber of course... Luckily

the glass was plastic or I would have been in serious trouble.

When I was reaching up to put the glass on the shelf I mis-

judged how far away I was from it and the glass hit the sink

divider and then into the sink.. If it had been a glass one,

which was the 2nd one I was going to put away after the

plastic one Im glad I did pick that one first.. That's the joys

of being blind in one eye, no depth perception..then being

so bloomin SHORT.. I mean I really am handicapped aint I?

Would you believe my bird feeder is empty again? Penny

filled it Monday and she had to refil it today again.. Its her

birthday Sunday and I have no idea what to get her.. I think

some money would be better then she can get her own

what ever she wants..she and I both are patiently waiting

for our stimulus tax money.. She said her son already got

his last week, but he had direct deposit..which I didn't do..

I don't like sending my bank info in the mail.. I even have a

hard time telling them when I reorder checks even...

Speaking of checks.. I just had to re-order them, plus the

fact that my bank just changed names...I had been getting

checks from a place called Checks Unlimited.. they wanted

over $50.oo for 2 boxes of duplicate checks.. I told them

they were nuts and I only wanted 1 box.. So what I did was

call CURRENT, Inc.. and I got 1 box of checks..duplicates

too..and shipping and all came to 15.oo... Why this other

place charges so much is because they charge you double

for shipping and set up charges even if you ordered from

them before.. Needless to say, CURRENT, Inc. is where I

will be getting my checks now..PLUS they have a great

catalog full of wonderful stuff, something for everyone..and

its great quality too.. So Do NOT get checks from Checks

Unlimited.. go to Current.. :-)

I didn't have lunch as I was waiting till after I post to have

some of my left over meat pie.. Im starved too.. The COA

dinner was of course awful..so I am hungry.. Time for food

and to play some solitare for a while.. so that means I

have to write my GORGEOUS WEEBLE "nitey nite"
