~My Ring Broke~

When one thing goes it seems everything starts to stop

or break down or something.. My ruby ring broke. It was

a gift for my birthday over 15 years ago. It was from my

sister and Stanley. They took me into the jewelery store

and Stan says to me "Lois, pick out any ring you want,

Happy Birthday". I looked at him and smiled.. I didn't

believe they were serious.. I looked at my sister and she

smiled, nodded her head and asked which did I want...
I walked up and down the cases and I wasn't about to

ask for a really expensive ring.. I found a nice small

ruby one and my sister laughed and reached over and

picked up that one and said "Now, THIS is more like it".
When she showed me that ring..well a ruby heart surrounded

by diamonds? and rubys down the side ? I smiled, tried it

on and of course it fit perfectly!! I left it on and have only

taken it off when I have been made to before surgerys

and while I was in the Hell Home after my other ruby ring

and the blue topaz were stolen, after, I didn't wear any of

my good jewelry.. I have 3 weaknesses.. Rings, Clothes

and jewelry in general lol.. I wear a diamond heart too.

Ive not had it off since I got out of the hell home. I had

another one and when I was out in left field..someone

came and took both my rings and my diamond heart.. I

was reallly upset about it.. So when I got out I replaced

it when they had a great sale at Meijers. I had to I felt

almost naked with out it..
However, you see my ring, its broken.. the band. Ive worn it

so much that the piece broke and being it was so thin anyway

it broke right off.. With the cost of gold, I doubt I can get

it fixed.. I sure would like to.. But I'm saving for that chair

I want to get to take the place of my bed. I took the other

photos to show all the rings I wear.. On the right hand, on

the ring finger the band is my wedding ring from David.. I

bought he didn't.. and the jade one on the middle is one I

had given to me by a dear friends mother when I was in

the hellhome... It fit snugly and by the time I got this I

wasn't spending any time in looneyville.. On the left hand

the gold band was David's ring, I bought it and I took it

back.. I wear 3 on the ring finger . I wear 15 in all... I

never did pay attention that most of my rings are silver.

Note! My pinky finger, left hand is EMPTY!!!.. not good :-)

I cant imagine a woman not liking jewelery.. I LOVE it..

And earrings? Well.. of all I have, I cant say which pair

I like the best.. I think my ruby studs.
I am so grateful I have all these, on this strict budget I'm

on I could never buy them now. My sis is the same as me as

far as rings and bracelets.. She doesn't have pierced ears,

so no earrings for her.. I tried talking her into it once and

all Stanley did was groan, put his head down and shake it..I

don't think she will get her ears pierced.. I have mine done

once.. my niece has each ear done 6 times.. Once was enough

for me. :-)

Ive not done nothing today other than just sit. But then I

don't have much choice. I am hoping maybe to have some

company over the week end so I want to get this place

looking fairly decent, so I have been picking up stuff and

putting things away.. Out of sight out of mind they say..
I hate when I have too much stuff cuz then all I do when

I straighten up is just re arrange things.. Not getting rid

of nothing .. :-) Time for a sandwhich and then some TV.

got up early, 530 to be exact.. so I'm kinda tired of

sitting.. but not too tired for my GORGEOUS WEEBLE
