~Banks~

I had to call my bank this morning, which I have the number

on my speed dial, cuz I call them so much.. I am terrified of

'hanging paper' as its called or writing a bad check. I have

never done that in my life.. I'm too paranoid I had it happen

once when a payroll check bounced thusly all my checks I

wrote on it bounced.. but the company paid for all the bad

charges we had which I was glad.. The first of the month I

always call to verify that my checks have been put in before

I write anything.. Some of my things are auto out like my

cable and phone. That I like.. I usually pay my gas and electric

by phone as well.. With this air conditioner running all the

time my electric has gone up and I have to make sure there

is enough for everyone.. So I phone my bank... :-) to see if

their balance matches mine, usually its not far off..

I called and Shantelle answered the phone.. she says "good

morning, this is First SavPeopleThree.. THIS IS THE BANK"..

I laughed so hard.. then she says, "Call back and I will know

where I am by then"... :-) My bank just changed names and

this kid was just having a Monday.. It was funny.. She told

everyone "its Lois, so she knows where shes calling".. I heard

everyone say "Ohhh yeah, and laugh"... They know me over

there and would you believe I have NOT been in that bank

since 2002? just after I moved into my apartment.. I had

to go to open my account..and have never been back.. but they

know me.. Penny too... maybe its cuz I call them so much.. I

told her I'm surprised she didn't know my account number :-)

Had some bad news today.. My ex husband's brother Bo died

this morning.. He was in a nursing home in lower Indiana..I guess

Willie and his wife, his brothers ex wife that just died.. they

will be coming up here to see Kelli and Alex before they head

back to Lousiana... Willie married Bo's ex wife last year after

they put him in the nursing home.. Gail is a writer of kids

storys from what Kelli tells me.. I hope they come by for a

visit.. Ive not seen Gail for years and I would like to discuss

her stories being published. be most interesting. I was sorry

to hear about Bo.. but hes in a better place now...

Penny came today hour half late again. She wasn't feeling real

well.. She had a bunch of errands to do for me such as getting

my meds refilled and getting some batteries for the boys lazer.

She got some WD40 for my chairs.. I have some card table ones

that fold and I mean they are so tight I almost stroke out when

I have to open them. So we sprayed them and now they work

great.. WD40 and Duct tape can fix anything.. don't move ,

spray it.. does move, tape it :-)

I had a McD fish for lunch, I will say that and their breakfasts

are about the only thing I can eat from there. Ive tried the

fish from other places, and none of the others can compare. I

Talked to the boy, he phoned and we have a date for one day

this week ..he said he would come and put the wardrobe together.

He wants to see what all he has to do before he tells me what

day he will help me.. I sure appreciate him doing it.. I still have

not gotten a call back from Millie at COA which is about the

speed over there.. In fact I didn't get a call back from my

caseworker even... Well you know that is on the 'TO DO' list

for tomorrow..

My to do for now is to get out of this chair. I have a spot on

my tail bone that every so often acts up really bad and no

matter which way I sit..nothing is comfortable.. If I lay on

my side that helps ... So I'm gonna post this and get a snack

of some Nutter Butter cookies and go watch TV.. Now for

my GORGEOUS WEEBLE "nitey nite" :-)
