~New Outfit & Cushion~

Well, there you see my new outfit and the skirt

was pants.. Its a knit, which I like silk, but I saw

this set on sale in the weekly Meijer ads and

for 10 dollars, I couldn't make it for that. Plus

I don't have any lavender but one skirt, so this

is a nice change. I don't splurge too often but I

decided I had been good and deserve a little bit

of a reward.. I used to always, when I worked, I

paid myself first, I did the work, I needed to have

something for myself.. It wasn't much maybe just

enough to buy a burger or something I wanted.. I

have always been very frugal.. but that comes with

the territory of being alone and only your self to

depend on...
There are the pant legs. I cut them off then I

opened the seams.. Trimmed them and sewed them

back up as a tube, thus my skirt.. I didn't take my

machine out to sew it.. I started to but look behind

me on the left.. see my machine over there? Do you

see what I would have to do to open that? Not

counting getting close to it with a bunch of stuff under

it that you CANT see!! :-) All that stuff on top would

have to come off THEN put back afterwards.. To sew

the seams up by hand didn't take long at all and that's

what I decided to do... I wasn't messing with moving all

that stuff.. That's why I miss a sewing room, my machine

stayed up and on the ready and I could go in there any

time to sew... I miss that.. But I hope you agree its a

nice outfit and I did good :-)
Theres my new cushion that was delivered the other day.

I didn't take a photo of it before I put it in my chair so,

this will have to do.. Just look at the cushion..You seen me

before :-D Its a different kind and its harder. It will

take some getting used to.. cost 114.oo for it.. It has like

a higher up part right in the front too, separates my stumps,

it says on the brochure that its to help distribute my

weight more evenly.. I'm not sure if I like it or not yet,

I don't like it being so hard cuz it kinda aggravates my

tail bone... I will give it a chance though.. Its thicker too

which makes me higher than the potty and my bed now.

It makes getting back into my chair harder as I have to

lift UP and back to get in it.. Lots to consider when you

get even just a minor thing like a cushion.. Well no, I guess

its really not minor..as many hours as I spend sitting on

this thing its got to be good or I could develop some

serious problems.. So a cushion really is a major thing.. I

know I had that 300 dollar Rojo and I couldn't use that

at all...

Well I woke up this morning and it was so cold in here I

could almost see my breath.. The boys little feet were so

cold I felt bad.. I don't have to walk on these cold floors

they do.. I turned the furnace on.. To tell you how cold it

was in here as soon as the heat started to come out of the

registers my windows steamed up; IT WAS COLD... Its nice

and warm now and the boys are glad I can tell... I am too I

had to put on 2 sweaters and a shawl to keep my shoulders

warm so it was time.. I just see the $ dollar signs building

up on my gas bill though.. I KNOW its gonna be bigger this

year than last since the prices have gone up so high.. Maybe

I should consider Florida, but then theres the hurricanes..

California is no good its gonna fall off the map, so .. maybe

Texas , no I like the change of weather so I guess right

here where I am is best... There's no place like home...:-)

My pork roast was so good, I kept the left overs for today,

I'm making some fries and am going to have a hot pork

sandwich with gravy all over it and the fries and just eat

every bit of it.. I'm gonna eat it whether its good for me

or not.. I splurge on that once in a while too when my sweet

tooth acts up and I have no choice but to find some cookies.

Peaches today for desert though.. I used to get so angry at

the HellHome when they gave us fruit for desert.. I always

complained that "Fruit was NOT desert"... Today its gonna

be.. Its that time again...this GORGEOUS WEEBLE says,

"Nitey Nite"... :-)
