~They Did It AGAIN !~

Why do I always get in crap? I mean, yesterday, again..I'm just

sitting here, its all quiet when suddenly I hear the buzzzzzzzzzzzzz,

of guess what ? yup.. a CHAIN SAW.. I looked out the window

and heres a city truck, with a chipper on it parked on this side

street and 2 guys are sawing away at my cedar again!! I opened

the door and asked just what the hell they were doing back here

again... One of them came up to the door and said, "you complained

last time and we left and didn't finish so we had to come back".

Well I promptly shut the door, called the city planning department.

A Mr. Brown got on the line; I explained it to him and he said that

he would be right over. AND he WAS!.. In 10 minutes I saw another

orange city truck pull up out there..
I watched as he looked over my tree and waited for him to come

in. Very nice man, and would you believe I WAS right? They did

NOT have any authority to come into my yard and cut anything.

They can whats HANGING over the sidewalk but not in my yard.

Well the limbs they cut off are next to the CENTER stump of

the tree!!! SO, to cut it that far back unless they had a long

enough pole they HAD to be in my yard.. Whats even worse, is

look at the mess they left on the sidwalk.. NOW if they think

me, Penny or anyone else but THEM are gonna clean it they are

barking up the wrong tree and I don't like having a crappy

messy looking sidewalk when I HAVE to keep it clean ! SO..

lets see how long it takes them to come and clean this up.. I bet

you a dollar to a doughnut they do NOTHING....
Mr. Brown said he would let me know and file my complaint to

the director or someone else.. Hes the city engineer and he said

hes been having a lot of trouble getting them to do things right.

Look at the photo of the ends of the branches.. do you see the

cut? THAT is what is called a RIP CUT...I had a tree service

for years.. I KNOW trees and how to preserve and care for them.

If you don't top, thin, deadwood your trees..then you are asking

for problems.. Those rip cuts are because the limbs they were

cutting were heavy and they didn't tie them off, when they cut

they cut from the top down and when it got to the bottom because

of the weight it ripped that bark back like that.. and that is NOT

good for a tree.. Same as pounding nails in them or these guys

that spike them to climb.. it will kill a tree if you spike climb it..

I was pleased though that I was within my rights to complain.
I went to the Dr. and he was VERY surprised at how good my arms

are doing.. He told me he did NOT expect these kind of results so

fast.. I have to start taking the pills again and go back in 8 weeks,

AND I have to go to the lab for blood work so they can check to

see if these pills are doing any damage to my liver. He asked if I

was experiencing any tiredness or cold like symptoms and I said

I get tired but that's because I don't sleep worth a crap and I

have been getting up at 4 in the morning because I CANT lay

there anymore.. That hopefully WHEN I get a recliner that will

be solved and I can get some good sleep... But I have to be on

guard for any not normal things just to be safe. After my next

visit he said he will lower the dose. I'm pleased...

Sharon took us today and its been ages since she drove me.. She

remembered me from the apts. I asked her if she had another

ride to give after me and she said no, so 3 guesses what I asked

her next :-) "will you stop at Goodwill?" Bless her heart she did.

We spend over an hour in there and just looked at everything..

There were a couple pretty skirts I wanted, but decided to wait.

Penny did get a nice TV tray that shes been wanting..

While I was waiting for the lady in front of me to pay for all of

her stuff a woman came up to me, put her hand on my shoulder

and said "good to see you SANDY". I turned and looked at her

and said "Nooo, I'm Lois, unless someone changed my name and

didn't tell me!" She laughed and explained she has a friend that

is a dak too. She said she had seen the 2 chairs they had there

for sale as her friend really needed one and no one would get

one for her. I told her I have my old one down in the basement

if she would be interested and to talk to her friend and give

me a call.. We exchanged phone numbers and she said when she

gets home she will give my phone number to her friend.

She said Sandys chair is not safe. If she cannot buy this chair I

will give it to her.. She cant be in an unsafe chair. The tires on

hers are very bad she said, the tires on my old one are like new,

they were hardly OUTSIDE!. From the way she sounded I don't

think she can afford to buy it, either way, she will have a good

chair.. I told this lady that if I can help her friend I would be

more than happy to.. From what I gather she is quite independent

as she has her own vehicle and prosthetics but she is up in age

from what I gather and she doesn't use the pros. very much and

why she needs the chair. I will keep you updated on the other

GORGEOUS WEEBLE that is in my town :-) hey we all are :-)

I am tired. I am posting this and logging off for today. Going to

the Drs and then wheeling all around Goodwill for 2 hours, my

arms and me are pooped... So I'm gonna check out my movie

channels and maybe even take a little five, as my mom called a

nap.. "take a five"... First a light snack, then I'm down for the

count.. This GORGEOUS WEEBLE bids you "nitey nite"
