~Before & After~

This is before:
This is NOW...
As you can see by the photo of my mailbox that we have
snow..and its quite deep. I would say over a foot easily..
I am hoping they will come and plow today so Penny wont
have any trouble getting in the drive way tomorrow, which
HOPEFULLY she will be here.. I sure hope so as the boys
are running low on their food.. I will have to start keeping
a bigger supply just for this reason.. Penny doesn't have
snow tires and her little car, she needs to put a few cement
blocks in the trunk to give her more weight and thus more
traction since she has no snow tires. I worry about her.
Back Yard
The kids, both the D's and Kelli have 4 wheel drive. Donnie
is driving his jeep, hes got the plow on it, I saw it the other
night when he was here. He says the jeep handles better
with the plow on it.. gives it more weight.. Its a red jeep too.
Lucky dog, he knows how I LOVE jeeps. Ive always wanted
one of my own..but, If I don't get the drive done I will call
him and see if hes coming over this way.. For sure though I
am calling COA to get signed up again.. I know the guy said
he had clients up here so hopefully he can come and do the
shoveling instead of Penny.. That's really expecting a lot
from her, even though she doesn't mind.. I still don't like
putting more on her than what shes supposed to do; that
she gets paid for lets say...

I heard some snow mobiles go by, knowing they are loving
all this snow. and on the weekend.. I KNOW where the boy
is, if he and Dawn arent out riding I will be surprised.. Hes
got one that's totally heated, handle bars, seat.. all of it..
My cousin Willard used to have a business selling them and
he would invite all the family to his farm to ride.. He gave
everyone a snowmobile and they would ride through the
woods and when they got back everyone had brought food
and would have a wonderful get together.. My dad told me
that one time my cousin decided to cut across the lake, it
was a spring fed lake and there is always a soft spot on the
ice .. I guess he forgot and drove over it and sunk the
snowmobile.. He only got wet.. lucky he was by shore and
not out in the middle of the lake. THAT would NOT have
been good, but they all had a great time anyway :-)

I finished knitting a new dishcloth last nite, well yesterday
after I logged off. I started it quite awhile back and just
set it aside, I'm glad I finally finished it.. They are so nice
to use, better than any you can buy.. I made dozens for
myself as we used to use them for wash clothes when we
showered.. David loved them and refused to use a store
bought one after that first use of one I made.. They are
really nice, my sis makes them too, I have to call her every
once in a while when I forget the pattern.. and its so easy
you would think I would remember it.. :-)

Next week now, the 20th is gonna be a very important day
THIS year.. everyone knows when that day is coming.. So...
just remember BIRTHDAY !!! :-) I have a wish list if you
don't know what to send :-) I'm kidding.. just a card will do
nicely :-) I wish I would get a card from everyone that
reads this.. sure would make my birthday better !! :-) so..
Ifn you want my snail mail addy just send me a email, and
I will send it to you.. I LOVE snail mail besides email :-)
I like giftys too, but what GORGEOUS WEEBLE doesn't?

Well was a lazy Sunday just like yesterday, I just need to
get motivated and get to finding a sewing machine and
do something useful.. This just sitting all the time, well I
need to DO something.. constructive.. But, until I get one,
I guess its more knitting :-) better than EATING.. which
I AM going to do right now, dunno what, I always find
something though.. THATS the problem :-) Time to post,
and of course write my GORGEOUS WEEBLE "g'day,
g'day"... :-)

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? love ya and Thanks!
Always, Lois ****

"God Bless You", is my prayer today,
I'm honored to call you "friend".
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until I write again...

Jeeps: I learned to drive on a 1949 jeep station wagon. The gears chattered. Did you know The Willys-Overland co used to make the willys knight before the war. In New England they have lawn service in the summer and snow removal in the winter.
In NYC 37% of adults drive, and only 20% own cars

    Hello Lois
Love the picture of the snow on the mail box's...still glad you got all that snow and not us...
Running just a bit of fever now and then, I hate this cold or flu...
Another one of my friends husband died last night, he had a heart attack. But he was very ill because of cancer...Sharon will need lots of prayer and her family...They have a handicap son that still lives in the home,Ron is in his middle 30's.
Hoping to get back on my feet this week, go so much that needs to be done...I have rested so much over this weekend, but will take it easy for a while.
    God bless you Lois.
Keep plenty of food on hand and extra water just in case...
    Mary

    Take care, Honey,
    Luv Ya
