~Hope I Get It~

I got a call yesterday after I posted, from Deborah
with HPM.. She said she phoned R&R and they informed
her that my cushion was being shipped and that I would
get it tomorrow.. which is today... I hope they come up to
the door and wait for me to answer it.. UPS just knocks
and puts a package down by the door if you don't answer
in 2 seconds. Ive lost packages because of that.. well so
does the mail woman.. She just had a big envelope the other
day and the mail lady sat out there and blew the horn,
waiting for me to come out to HER to get my mail.. I sat
there and looked at her like, "ummm, scuze me, bring the
stuff HERE!".. Good thing Penny was here to go out there.

Anyway I hope whomever is delivering this cushion will
wait till I get to the door.. or it will have to sit outside
till tomorrow when Penny is here, well , unless they bring
it before the lunch girl is here, she goes out and checks
my mail for me on Tuesdays and Thursdays when Penny
isnt here, and on Saturday, well I just have to leave it
out there, unless someone stops by.. NOW, when this
snow and stuff is gone I can go out to the mail box, I
still am going to call the post master and see what I have
to do to get it delivered TO THE DOOR... like they did
at the little house.. I just happened to think.. we left my
mailbox on the door at the little house!.. Well, Donnie is
due to come by either today or tomorrow so I will ask
him to stop and get it off the door !... Save me from
buying a new one...

Well, I just got off the phone with the Colon Post Master.
I told her about the mail lady blowing the horn, which she
is NOT supposed to do that.. I kind thought so..but anyway,
she said for me to have my mail put here on my door that
I would have to renew a thingie I would have to fill out
because I am disabled, EVERY 30 DAYS! I told her that
was the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard! Like my
legs are going to grow back? I think she may be miss
reading her guidelines.. Needless to say I AM going to
check this out.. I just need to find someone that works
at the post office now to verify this.. I didn't have to
do that at the little house.. and the mail was delivered
the same way, by vehicle... so I really don't understand
this.. She said a driver has to be paid EXTRA? to do that?
Paid EXTRA to deliver my mail? I do NOT understand..
I get more challenges don't I? But I will find out.. I hope
I didn't get the mail lady in trouble by telling on her, but
I did know she was wrong.. Theres a photo of our ugly
mailboxes.. Mine WILL BE painted :-)

I get more challenges it seems.. but well keeps the blood
pumping I think..plus giving me something to do :-) I may
be wrong, but this just doesn't seem right so I will start
digging...Right now, I'm going to go and make some soup.
I threatened to make some potato soup the other day,
and why I didn't I don't remember but I AM going to
make some this day.. I have a really easy recipe and it
doesn't take that long to make it..I love mine with LOTs
of onion.. 2 veggies I go through the most and that's
onions and potatoes... and together they do make a great
combination.. Now Ive made myself totally hungry and I
need to replenish my resources so to speak..

So, that means its POST TIME!!! and my GORGEOUS
WEEBLE "G'Day, G'Day".. :-)

Y'all have a good one now, Y'hear? love ya and thanks...
Always, Lois ****

"God Bless You", is my prayer today,
I'm honored to call you "friend".
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
Until I write again...

Now we know which mailbox is your.
Sure hope you get your mail box moved up closes.
Maybe you can put a note on the door for them to wait till you get to the door to open it...
I got that paper work done for Bob and handed in...now I can work on Becky paper work...
Patsy and I took our walk today inside the hospital basement. only 8 lap today...it take 15 laps to make a mile. Patsy was hurting to much to walk anymore.

    Hi Lois
Re yr post of a couple of days ago - you dont half give the engineers amongst us some head scratching to do over yr electric treadle for the sewing machine. It could be adapted to use a small electric pressure squeeze switch secured to your index finger & operated by your thumb. Hopefully that wouldnt interfere with the sewing process too much. Alternatively go to an internet shopping site & see if there are more modern treadles for the same brands of machine. Sometimes they are interchangeable.
Have you had ever had tripe & onions - you wouldn't go back to potato soup after that lol.
Sounds like your public service employees need a little bit of a shake up just as some of ours do. They should be thinking of giving excellent service b4 they hold their hand out for their pay packet. They are after all paid to give service. Some of ours suffer from the same issues. They dont get much change from me I can tell you.Lol.
Well I'll leave you to your wee challenges - as my daughter says if you dont let them get to you they do make you stronger. Wise words
    Cheers Rob J

    Hi Mary,
I had a bunch of paperwork I had to fill out too, yearly stuff, and if you forget to dot even one i they will send it back ! Good luck on your walks..

    Hiya Rob~!
Yes, I bet that would work, I had even thought of something to use with my elbow, the problem is the machine surface is higher than the table. That makes it harder, if it was all flat would help too...

Tripe? isnt that intestines? Ive heard of it.. I dont think I like it though if its the same thing :-)
Your daughter is very wise.. :-)

So nice to hear from you.
    Love N'Hugs,
    Always, Lois ****
