~News of the Day~ :-)

Todays News.. :-) Well, about 8:15 I was on the phone to

R&R to find out what the delay was on my cushion and of

course got the run around by someone new, that I havent

talked to before named Linda. She was not aware of much

and said no one else was there? Which surprised me.. So she

said the famous "I will call you back", which as of right now-

1:15 and Ive not gotten a call.. but then I knew I wouldn't.


So, you KNOW what I did yes? I phoned Deborah at HPM,

and relayed the problem and she is going to see what the

problem is and of course it stems from the Drs office. Erica.

She didn't phone or fax anything when she was supposed to,

and now everything is delayed again.. I told Deborah, I follow

the rules and go down the line to ask for things I need, why

do I have to do everyone else's job too? Something is VERY

wrong here, that these people have to be constantly reminded

to do their jobs.. I shouldn't have to do this, and Deborah

agreed..In fact, her words were "Lois, let me handle this,

don't get your blood pressure up, I will get it fixed". That's

a direct quote .. She knows me so well :-)

The other news of the day is, Joe, my landlord returned my

call and I relayed to him my gas bill total and why I thought

it was so high, because of the open windows. He told me HIS

gas bill was over 300.. Id stroke out for sure if I got one like

that.. I said perhaps I should consider getting a electric

heater.. But that was before I got my electric bill, which came

today.. It is $51.92. Its higher than I thought too.. but with the

furnace running, every time the fan does too, and that I would

think is electric.. plus I have a dryer now, but I did allow for

that.. I am going to have to seriously redo my budget. Joe did

not offer any advice on my bill, but did say that Carl would be

here this week..

If push comes to shove I will make adjustments to be able to

live here and pay these higher bills.. This place is so very worth

it.. I cant tell you how nice it is to look around in here and see

the things I have had packed up all this time, to live like I used

to before all this happened.. I wont give this up.. If I have to

go dial up I will... But I also thought that if I do get a new

sewing machine, I can make some quilts and hopefully maybe I

can sell them like I did before.. That would cover the extra

I need for these higher utility bills.. I will do it one way or the

other, I love it here and I am so excited about summer I cant

stand it.. I can go out and work in the yard or at least sit out

there if I want ANY TIME!~ the hardest problem will be to get

out with out the boys trying to follow me..

I did think about that and I have figured a way when and if the

time comes.. but I figure if I back out, facing them, I can keep

them away from the door.. They are both bad about walking right

in front of me so backing out might work.. I just need to practice

backing up.. I have a hard enough time going through doors straight

on let alone backwards :-) But I will practice, cuz I'm GOING OUT

that door when the weather is good.. and theres no mud or anything.

The treads on these tires in back are deep and I bet I could track

a lot of dirt or what ever in here very easily..


That's it for the news of the day :-) I'm tired and ready to get out

of this chair. Lunch from COA was its usual awful stuff so I had a

nice PB & J and some tomato soup.. That's all I would eat when I

was in the hell home for a long time.. Still a favorite :-) Time to post,

then eat, then TV, oh, and time for my GORGEOUS WEEBLE
