~The Christmas Crew~ :-)

I wrote just the other day about the Christmas Eve

party my sister Shirley has with all her family.. There

is a photo my honeygirl Bev sent to me.. She is NOT in

the photo or her husband, the smartys :-) and my niece

Tiffani and nephew Mac are missing, so add 4 more to

that... My sis sure did "go forth and multiply" didn't she.

Her oldest daughter Rose of course is not there, as she

passed away 5 years ago.. She sure is missed..But isnt that
a nice photo.. next best thing to being there :-) Bev was so
sweet to share, I did ask permission :-)

Way in the back corner behind everyone you can see my

sis and Stanley... she got this new house to have more room,

well I dunno but sure looks just as crowded as the other

house with everyone in it.. Now with the grands getting big

and the great grands coming along.. her house may NEVER

be big enough.. I don't see her 2 great grands though in the

photo.. Tiffani and her 2 babies are missing. I bet I wrote

back and forth to Bev 4 times finding out who everyone is..

I havent seen any of them since Rose died and saw everyone

at her funeral.. that's a long time, no wonder I don't recognize

every one...

Well I have a birthday this month.. on inauguration day, the

20th.. My birthday sure is a memorable one.. This one for

sure, plus my sister MaryJane passed away on my birthday

3 years ago.. I will be, hmmm, maybe I shouldn't say, naaah,

I am proud of my age, Im going to be 64... Age is only numbers

anyway, don't matter.. its HOW you feel.. HOW you ARE,

and mostly WHAT you are.. and me? well I REFUSE, to get

OLD.. no way, I will stay YOUNG forever.. the numbers may

get bigger for me, age wise, size wise too :-) but OLD? I
REFUSE !!! :-)

My new year dinner today is left over meatloaf, and I want

you to know it is the BEST one Ive made in a while.. I mean

its really good.. I ate half of it yesterday.. and left over?

Well... if you like meatloaf then you know its even better the

next day.. just like spaghetti sauce.. What I'm really hungry

for is potato soup.. I havent made that in ages.. and it sure

sounds good.. that's next on my list to make...

I called the kids to wish the D's a happy new year.They didn't

stay up to see the new year in. I was awake. first time in a long

time ! I relayed the info getting my door fixed and offered

that frozen turkey to them, he may come by some time next

week to get it.. Donnie has a deep fryer for turkeys and I

have to say, THAT is good turkey.. hes brought me some of

it.. Everyone is doing ok which I am always glad to hear...

Was a good day today, a nice day to start off this new year..

I hope every one is like this :-)

Time to eat and to post this.. then its TV time.. I got up early

again, 6:00... the boy wants his breakfast and will torment me

till I get up.. I have no set schedule anyway.. so wake up time

doesn't matter much unless I am expecting company... which

next week is going to be pretty busy...from what I already know

is scheduled.. hopefully my new cushion will be here... This

GORGEOUS WEEBLE says Happy NEW YEAR !!!!!! :-)
